Wonderful place near the Harbour
Reviewed By tomnefzgerIt was so cool to camp near the Harbour of Ishoj. You can easily go to Kopenhagen with busses and trains. At tangloppen camping you can order rolls at the evening and pick them up at the next morning.

The hosts are very kind and "down to earth", and the guests were so friendly and helpful (mostly local people). Facilities were clean and well maintained. Nysted Strand Camping is beautifully located next to a wonderful children-friendly beach and a beautiful cycle path along the coast. We can fully recommend this for you, if you are looking for a perfectly located and quiet camping site, with a friendly atmosphere.

Ugerløse Holiday Centre er beliggende pa en strand med udsigt over Storebælt. Der tilbydes indkvartering med fælles eller eget badeværelse. Kalundborgs bymidte ligger 15 minutters kørsel væk. Al indkvarteringen har spiseplads og tekøkken med køleskab, kogeplader og kaffemaskine. Nogle har desuden tv, mens andre har udsigt over Storebælt. De rekreative faciliteter omfatter udendørs swimmingpool og minigolf. Børnene kan have det sjovt pa legepladsen, hvor der er trampolin. Morgenmad, snacks og souvenirs sælges i butikken pa ejendommen. Vor Frue Kirke fra det 12. arhundrede ligger 20 minutters kørsel væk. Kalundborg Golfklub ligger 20 km fra ejendommen. Par er særligt glade for beliggenheden – de har givet den karakteren 8,8. Vi taler dit sprog!
The worst camping place
Reviewed By Joona LGreat scenery and nature but camping place is not what they advertised. Very un-friendly. Wifi is slow and breaking all the time. Place is not dog friendly, rules says that you should walk the dog outside camping. You cant even wash dog with camping site. Toilet/shower has bad smell and looks dirty. If you go to toilet after dark there is no lights or lights go on and off in few minutes. I was taking shower and middle of it I was in the dark again. You pay 6 kr for 3 minutes of water....in the dark!!!!! Everything is rusty and paint falling off. It seems like its been great place 40 years ago but nobody is maintained it since. We booked cabin for 4 people and it was full of spider web. Cabin was very small and you felt like you run out of air. Next cabin is 2 meters away so you see everything they are doing in the next door. Too tightly build. Owner told us that we should pay 100kr if dog stay with us and dog is not allowed to walk in camping site or be on the furniture! What furniture? For 4 people they gave 2 chairs and cheap mattress. There was coffee machine but only one wall socket for electricity????? One for 4 people. We coudnt charge all our phones and make coffee. Everything is very cheap and falling a part. Worst camping site I have ever visited. Not recomended for adults, kids or dogs.

Great wooden cottage on a friendly campsite
Reviewed By JBHBTA very helpful and friendly couple run this campsite. We stayed in a really clean and well presented wooden house for a week and had a great time. It is only a 10 minute bike ride down a cycle path to the nearest supermarket in Rodvig village or ten minute walk to the beach so you can have a car free few days. The children really liked the free go carts on the site.

Reviewed By Ulrik HThis is by far the best camping in Denmark. Been here for 10 years 1 week each summer and it is just getting better and better. Its so clean and there are lots to do. The nature is just amazing. The staff is sweet. Big shop for everything. Great indoor swimmingpool and beach. It is such a nice place.

Good campsite
Reviewed By chrisnP1547RAArrived at short notice to this camp site to a welcome smile from reception. The campsite is a moderate size, which has large pitches. The campsite was very well kept. The supermarket and town centre are only a 5 minute walk away. Lovely walks along the estuary and plenty of wildlife. The only minor point was the toilet facilities was small, but they are clean, shower was always hot and just planned the time of your shower.

Reviewed By metteo9113Godt familie sted, gode bade og toilet områder, God legeplads, hjælpsomme mennesker. Dog har de ikke helt styr på deres bookinger. Min familie og jeg havde booket en hytte og da vi kom der over var der ingen hytte og dermed intet sted at jo i den uge vi skulle være der.. pga at deres "system" sage ejeren. Dog gjore ejeren mange forsøg på at finde noget dog uden held. Vi fik penge tilbage og lidt mere til at finde noget andet, men det var umuligt da det var i uge 29 hvor det er høj sæson for ferie. Men vi fandt en løsning uden om camping pladsen.

Lovely place to spend the summer
Reviewed By sigge29We have stayed here during the spring and summer for the last 3 years, and have seen the transformation this place has gone through, from neglected and forgotten to loved and 'hyggelig', we love this place :) There are two playgrounds for the kids, activities during the summer and of cause the pool and slides. There are a couple of small lakes/ponds for a lovely evening walk, and if you are lucky you might see the rabbit or deer in the early morning. The owners are lovely and extremely helpful and we can only recommend staying here, though you should notice that they have changed the name to 'Marielyst Familiecamping' :) We will be back in the spring ;)
