The dome we stayed was clean, it had its own bathroom and A/C unit. Our host was super friendly and provided information as to nearby areas that we can visit. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

The staff Carmen and Daniel made our quick trip to Tortuguero exceed expectations. Daniel was a very friendly and fantastic guide for the tours offered by the hostel. Carmen was a sweetheart. Right from check in she gave us amazing recommendations for food all along the River as well she took care of everything to organize the cheapest and most efficient travel to our next destination while we enjoyed the tours. For once I didn’t need to spend a second of my trip worrying about my next steps. Most helpful and friendly staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a while.

You will find us in a quite and relaxing garden, with birds, little frogs and monkeys, 300m from Playa Negra, 300m from Cahuita village and 800m from Cahuita national park. Reviewed By Julianna1111111We stayed here at the end of our Costa Rica trip, and it was by far the best out of the several hotels we stayed at during our trip. We arrived midmorning on the off chance we could leave our luggage until the room was ready, but were allowed to check in and go to our room straightaway. We interrupted David the owner during his morning garden tidying, but he friendly and charming and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and give us all the information we needed for our stay. The cabina itself was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed hanging out on our porch in the evening, listening to the wildlife. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the room until way past check out, while we sorted out bus tickets for our onward journey and said a last goodbye to the beautiful beach nearby.

Reviewed By SimplySO4I was traveling alone and had some trouble getting there but once I arrived they were so helpful and friendly. Luis and Patterson took great care of me and made me feel at home. The accommodation is simple and right next to the beach. There is a community kitchen and you can book a room with private or shared bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed By Busy_chica510I really enjoyed my stay at Cabinas Ole Caribe, the owners are super nice people and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveler. Only a block from the beach, the lovely gardens and patios tables offer views of jungle right outside your door! You can choose to rent a unit with well-equipped kitchen or not, and the extra amenities like fresh fruit and access to laundry make it a good value. Thank you for your kind hospitality and I hope to return to Playa Cocles soon!

The hotel has a kitchen you can use to make your lunch, dinner, coffee which I think is super nice… Ocean view breakfast is served on your wish. Town and restaurants are just a few steps away.. Rooms are simple, but good. With fans and shower… all you need ? The staff are very friendly, and smiling. So all in all a good experience.
