But since the resort only allow for 2 guests youll be charged for additional person. the View is breathtaking with 2 different pools. both are cool. u are required to swap towel token, so make sure u always bring back to them to get the card back. all the staffs are friendly and helpful, love the food and juice. the beach is somewhat solitary and remote, feels of the private beach. must try the senses spa, a 4 cottage cliff view of the spa room. u shud do the booking early since it is quite full from outside guest. wish we were stay longer. there was no tv, since the hut style kinda bring you back to nature. also theres birds and often perch on your roof in the morning to make the morning call :)

The staff was super friendly, the room and garden with pool very well arranged, and even our welcome drink was beautifully prepared. All the staff was very helpful and Patrice (hope I didn’t spell it wrong?) - the owner - is such a nice friendly guy and he did all he could to make sure we had a nice experience. We spend to long to do can checking in, and when we finally got it , we arrive to the room and the bathroom was not clean, look like someone just had a shower,the bath mat was use, body’s hair everywhere, dirty bed, the towels horribles, the breakfast also.

Asked if we can have a dinner and heard “we are fully booked”! Are you serious?! Hope the owner of this place will read this comment to see how his employees “work”.

The restaurant not so much appealing, breakfast is so minimum but expensive AUD 8$ with no so many choices and boring instant coffee from a machine. Lack of adequate transportation, have to order online taxi by ourselves but conflicting with the overpriced private taxi in front of the hotel. It's just so so. Not too good but also not really bad.

On the day of check in we got a another mail "your room is ready, we are waiting for your arrival...." when we were in KL airport, we got another mail from the manager "sorry we have not enough room so we could not provide any room today...." We had not any other options so we went to the Ratu Guest house directly from the airport. Manager were not present that time some other guy called the manager over the phone, but he said he cannot come right now but he booked another hotel for us. Already it was nearly 11pm so we had no other option so we went to "i Stay" hotel. After entering the hotel i saw the receptionist were sleeping (actually he was drunk) he wake up and he showed the room to us. I was disagreed to stay that hotel for the security reason because we were the only guest in that hotel. I strongly recommend, please do not stay Ratu Guest house for your safety.

Slept in the hammock dormitory. A bit skeptical at first, but surprisingly it was a comfortable sleep. It was really cheap nonetheless. Worth it! Lots of good food options around just walking distance. Lots of convenient stores as well. Verdict: highly recommended place if you’re in Bali.

Reviewed By 709majarWe booked two rooms for two nights over booking.com. In pictures it looked okay for that price. First, when we got there, they wanted us to pay in advance although there was no mentioning that payment in advance was neccessary and we hadn't even seen the rooms yet. We asked if we can pay later, so thay said okay after all. We got two rooms downstairs that had such strong smell of mold that it was very hard to breathe normaly in that rooms, there were water stains all over the walls and it was dirty. We asked for other rooms, so we got two other, more expensive rooms that were just a tiny bit better but also needed cleaning. Wallpapers were torn in places, the sheets were dirty and I found hair in my bed from previous guests so I guess the sheets weren't changed after last guests left, which was disgusting to sleep in. The rooms overall were very dirty. Refrigorators were very dirty and smelly. The pool was also dirty it was hard to see the bottom. The only thing that was good, they let us cancel the other night without cancelation fee. This is really a terrible dirty stay and definitely not worth that money. Or any money.

Great place to stay
Reviewed By Macca245My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on arrival in Bali. It is close to the airport by car and the hotel offers free pick up and drop off. The hotel is well maintained and clean but as mentioned showing its age - which I think adds to the character. We had breakfast included because we stayed 3 nights and it was delicious and the ambiance upstairs overlooking the pool was a great way to start the day. We enjoyed a free massage and went back for another. Easy walking distance to the beach via the back street close to the fish markets where you can choose your seafood and have it cooked for a few dollars a kg next door with greens, rice and a cold Bintang. The beach comes to life during the evening when the seafood restaurants place their chairs and tables along the beach and the local kids come out to play soccer or swim. I would definitely recommend Puri Bambu restaurant for reasonably priced meals for lunch and dinner and accomodation.
