Reviewed By Füredi KWe had a problem to rich the room without an elevator. There wasn't any information of this conditions on the page where we booked. We had to change hotel because of it, but the owner charged for the whole staying. She was rude and impolite and wasn't helpful at all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with a bakery
Reviewed By IenciIt was the best choice to stay here. We had a great ski trip and by traveling by car it was no problem to get from the hotel to the slopes. The hotel is in fairy tale village and it has its own bakery right next to it. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfast is delicious. We will definitely come next year again!

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed- all had newly fitted ensure bathrooms. The food was also excellent, good choice at breakfast and wholesome, home cooked food in the evening. I would certainly like to visit Haus Lungau again

Our bed-and-breakfast hotel amid the wonderful alpine world of Lungau is located in a very central and quiet position to the historic center of Mauterndorf. Encompassed from green meadows and ancient trees you can breath the peace and find some relaxation. We would like to give you a pleasant stay. Choose your right stay out of 5 pleasant comfort doublerooms or three nice apartements for 2 to 7 persons. Enjoy your substanial breakfastbuffet and our beautiful spa with finnish sauna, biosoft sauna, infraredcabine and relax room with music and grander water . Animals are also welcome in our house.
The small family guest house is situated in a nice quiet place.looks very nice And well kept.

The breakfest was very good .The hostes helped us a lot while our stay with finding nice attraction which were suitable for young and old. Some things somehow disturbed me and were totally unexpected. First of all there was NO SOAP WHAT SO EVER THE TOWELS WERE MUCH MUCH TOO THIN AS IF THERE WERE USED FOR A LONG TIME AND WERE WASHED THOUSAND TIMES.FIT FOR A RAG TO BE USED FOR CLEANING.it did not fit the impression I got from the lovely guest house.

Given its 4 star hotel status, breakfast was just ok. Definitely we had better variety in other 4 star hotels. Best thing about breakfast was our table, located in the rear end of the dining room, with nice view of the garden. Nice central location in Mauterndorf. Several restaurants or pubs within walking distance. No traffic noise. Easy accessibility of surrounding ski resorts (Katschberg, Grosseck, Fanningberg or Obertauern).

Starting with the warm welcome that makes us fell great, the room, large with an amazing view over the Mauterndorf and the mountain surroundings, the SPA and entertainment area and well equipped and the atmosphere created by Cristina and Lucian, their openness and desire to help, made our staying one of the most beautiful holiday along with family and our friends. Definitely a place to visit again.

The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We loved the breakfast in the morning with the fresh eggs! Would love to stay here again if in the area!

Reviewed By lara_316Very beautiful cosy pension. The lady who works there is super kind and helpful and speaks good english. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a balcony with a beautiful view on the castle. The breakfast was good and tasty. I really recomend this lovely place to anyone, especially families.

Reviewed By Wien2014Typical Austrian Guesthouse and family owned and very friendly. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Unusual menu which included 'Pigs Nose'. Desserts were good and included a 'Salzburger Knockerl'. Primarily a Ski Resort area but the town is lovely and old. Good location for touring and walking.
