Reviewed By 488radeksHotel is fresh renovated, full board and wellness procedures, helpfull personnel. Hotel is located in walking distance to a spa park and a bus stop. It is located at rather busy road, betts are quite soft and wi-fi connection almost unusable.

Old original Czech building in beautiful spa town, immaculate renovation of all rooms, center of town, with breakfast, internet access, English, German , Czech speaking staff, Walking distance to all towns places of interest and forest walks. Many spa hotels and services in town. Town is surrounded by forests, lots of lakes in area. 2hrs from Prague. Free pick up from town's bus/train station. One of the prettiest towns in CZ. 15min drive from German border.
OK, but not quite as advertised
Reviewed By robolotsWe booked this hotel via booking.com for 2 nights as we were in Marianske for a couple of days. On arrival there isn't a reception and on ringing the bell were met with a lady who spoke good english and queried our booking. We were shown to our rooms which to be fair are quite nicely decorated and clean. I asked about payment and was told to do this at breakfast the next morning. At breakfast the man serving us told us they were unable to accept any card payments (despite this clearly being stated that they did on the booking.com paperwork) and could only accept cash. I was asked to cancel the booking.com booking and he would give me a 10% discount rather than the hotel pay booking.com any fees. I'm not sure if they were really waiting for a new card machine or if this is a scam to get out of paying fees? Only they can answer that? If it is, it's a bit sad as if it wasn't for booking.com I wouldn't of known about the hotel in the first place. Breakfast was fine, but you basically had whatever was at your table (breads, cooked meats, cheese and jams and whatever fruit was there (1st day pineapple, second day apple). To be fair there was cereals, toast and various drinks, but no other choices and I found it a bit limited compared to other hotels I have stayed at. One of the reasons we choose to stay here was that they had an advertised bar. Yes it is there (same place as breakfast) but they said they hadn't operated it for over 4 years due to licencing issues. The rooms are fairly nice, but the bed (room 5) has the hardest non forgiving matress I have ever slept on. The bathroom was clean, although the sink tap constantly dripped and there were no shampoo's shower gels etc, only some cotton pads which I found a bit weird and they smelt musty! There were no tea and coffee facilities which I thought were pretty much standard practice now days. Overall it's quite a quaint traditional place, centrally located, but more like a guest house than a hotel. It needs a few tweaks (toiletries, tea/coffee facilities, a dedicated reception) but most of all it needs to be honest in the description of its facilities and practices.

Reviewed By L0N8T5ACKAs usual, the rooms are spotlessly clean, rooms 1 and 2 have a fridge, cutlery, and a kettle. Plus a lovely shared balcony, with very comfortable seating. The restaurant offers a varied range of delicious, well presented meals, along with beer and wines to compliment the meals. The restaurant is patronised by locals, thus it may be prudent to book a table.

Reviewed By TrvlLovrsWe stayed for several nights. The breakfast that was included was very nice. European style. But they also offered eggs made to order one morning. They also offered a variety of pastries each morning. They have a wide variety of choices for dinner. You needed a reservation for Friday night which was a good sign of the meal we did enjoy. The hotel is situated with several shops. Then just a 2 minute walk to the main street to restaurants including a pharmacy. You are a short walk to the park that runs up through the town. It's a beautiful to stroll.

Feels like at your grandma' kitchen
Reviewed By Markita KVery warm atmosphere, family-like pub with just few tables but expect you may have to wait for your. It's rather a pub, so the menu offers typical czech cuisine and beers. They serve generous portions just like locals like it. We got recommended zander fish on garlic with cumin butter and mashed potatoes and home made halusky with sauerkraut and smoked meat, both very good. Staff is multilingual, food and drinks are served with no delays and the total bill is bearable. If you are around come here and enjoy the famous czech cartoon-inspired eatery U pejska a kocicky.

Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend. Durch die Lage im Hinterhof sind die Zimmer ruhig. Das Restaurant im Vorderhaus bietet Mittag- und Abendessen an. In das Kurzentrum läuft man 20min durch den Park oder nutzt den oft verkehrenden O-Bus.

High quality inexpensive hotel
Reviewed By Irina41Villa Gloria is located on a quiet and green street north of the town. Very cosy hotel with caring and dedicated staff. We made a booking 2 hours before arrival and when we arrived, everything was ready, including a bottle of Sekt in the fridge. Breakfast was excellent, although served in a basement but there is a patio for outdoor seatings In good weather. The prices were much lower than some other hotels in Lazne. Warmly recommended!
