The setting is idyllic, the staff are attentive (Jacquelina was the star, beautiful in every way), options for tours/activities available, breakfast was outstanding (get some tapioca....or caramelised pineapple... I was in heaven)...the room was comfortable with all necessary facilities... Beach on ur doorstep... I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you all x

Reviewed By Mirian KFor one night only, it was an excellent choice. The receptionist, Laudi, was very kind and helpful. She was very friendly. Our room was clean and so was the bathroom. Very, very simple, so don't go there expecting any luxury. Our four-year-old loved the towel swans (she thought it was a heart) on top of the bed (LoL), so that alone was already positive.

Spotlessly clean and fantastic breakfast!!!
Reviewed By AshonaMy husband and I stayed one night, the room was spotlessly clean, not even a hair in the floor, we had a comfortable nights sleep and then enjoyed the best breakfast we have had so far travelling through Brazil. There was a good choice of juices, fruits and cooked items, the eggs are cooked fresh on request. The owner is also very nice and helpful. The location is one very short street away from the sea. Definitely recommended!

Also the restaurant offers lunch and dinner and small snacks all day round. Really a nice location, great food, spacious rooms and newly renovated rooms as well.

Reviewed By BillieS68I had a booking for 5 nights, only spent 2 nights and booked the three last nights at Salinas resort instead. Mattresses were in really bad shape, old bathroom stunk, broken furnitures and shady bedding (stains on bed sheets) and very noisy in the morning. At the front of the hotel, there was a huge puddle, i could barely walk across to go to the beach. Upstair was a non hitted pool, the bar was closed and the outdoor furniture old and worn out. The downstair pool was ok and breakfast was not too bad, wifi was ok depending on where you were. Ok in the room, not so much around the hotel. Staff seemed lazy.

Reviewed By FruitcakeFWe had read mixed reviews and weren't sure what we would get, but the price seemed good for what you got. When left with the mixed feelings about the place. The positives: It's only a little walk to the beach and the breakfast spread was amazing - one the best whilst 7 weeks in Brazil! The room was very spacious and had hanging space, en-suite and a fridge. The receptionist Bruna was friendly and helpful. You can also get discounts for a boat trip if you stay. Met the owner once, he was also helpful and offered advice The negatives: At check in, no information was given about the discount for a boat trip, where breakfast was served. We were there for two days and it rained solidly, so couldn't go on the boat trip, and asked the other receptionist (not Bruna) for things to do.... She couldn't offer anything. Seemed she was there for check in and check out and not other services or help. However this was just one member of staff, at check out we met the other receptionist and she was great, as were the ladies who did breakfast and cleaning! Bedroom had no window so it was dark and relied on air con, no fresh air. Ask for a room facing a verandah with big sliding doors. People have mentioned the location being terrible - we didn't think it was terrible and it definitely did not feel unsafe. To manage your expectations: it is not on the sea front like the other places are (but it doesn't claim to be - so no false advertising!) and there is no alternative 'attractive view' so if you are wanting somewhere for the view or 'ambiance' of being in the 'buzz' you will not like this place. However, if you want a clean place within minutes of the sea front and the buzz, and don't mind the road which leads to it is not tarred, or sealed, (so when it rained there were a few puddles after the rain) and don't necessarily want to meet other people - but just somewhere to sleep and do your own thing - then it's good value.

The wifi, however, is really lousy so don't rely on it if you really need it. Now to the breakfast: it is really really very good! I mean it! It is better then most 5-star hotels in North America or Europe. Thumbs up!!!! Also, the owner Daniel gave us a ride . Thanks, Danny !
