Reviewed By Tobias EThere are only four chalets, surrounded by lush vegetation of the Atlantic forest, with incredible trees and bird songs as background music. In short, a great place to relax. Our villa, Portugal, is spacious and comfortable, with a simple decoration but with good taste and quality, something that is not very common in other "pousadas" of the area. Breakfast is served in the large house, with excellent fresh local produce. It also has a gallery and a very pleasant winter garden, with beautiful views of the lush local landscape. A perfect place to enjoy a good coffee (Rafaela obrigada!) Ruth and Ribeiro, the owners of the inn, transmit all the love and enthusiasm they feel for the place. Around the house there is a lot of outdoor space, a small pool and even a stream. Caramba, the dog adopted by Ruth and Ribeiro, is always waiting to accompany you on a walk. We will be back!

The property is in a valley, there is a beautiful river inside the property, you can enter the river, swimming pool, SAUNA and a SPA, please make your massage reservation in advance. Hot Stones Massage available, Aromatherapy, Bach Flower therapy, Reiki, Shiatsu.

too "stressed" to refund my deposit - THEY cancelled my stay
Reviewed By Monica_MackenzieI booked a room last year around October for a week’s stay over X-mas/New Year. As the pousada does not accept credit cards I had to transfer the deposit by international bank transfer (not possible directly to the agency of the advised account – so it had to be directed through the central bank the respective ITAU agency). I did this – but of course this took time. I received emails from the pousada claiming that they hadn’t received the money – even though I had a transfer receipt (deposited in the name of Lenita Santos da Silva – apparently the mother of the owner) – which I also forwarded to them. They them cancelled my room saying they were too stressed to resolve this with their bank (or mother’s bank – whatever). I traced my transfer (which is charged at CHF 50.-) to find the money had after all been received in the advised account. I was told by my bank that the recipient had to sign a paper accepting the money in international currency. Which they had not. Then I instructed my bank to call-back the deposit (as they had cancelled my room anyhow and the responsible Marcos was incredibly rude to me on the phone). This whole procedure has now has taken about 6 months and requires the recipient to authorise the repayment. I have found out today that the recipient refused. I never stayed at this pousada. THEY cancelled the room. They have kept CHF 340.- (equivalent of about R$ 1200.-) deposit until today. And hang up the phone on me when I call. Marcos is the name of the responsible I communicated with and who is too stressed to deal with normal business affairs. Visitors from outside Brasil! Do not deposit money with Pousada Panorama in Lumiar. For whatever reason it is a risk that they cancel your room and are too „stressed“ or not capable to resolve obvious debts.

Reviewed By ModernC3Os quartos desse hotel familiar são amplos arejados e limpos. Os dono são simplesmente pessoas maravilhosas. E de tudo fazem para que vc se sinta em casa. O quarto casa acomoda com conforto 4 pessoas. O café da manhã preparado pela D. Fátima é uma delícia. Pertissimo do centro de Lumiar é de fácil acesso. Enfim uma ótima relação custo/benefício.
