Reviewed By cbeiNice hotel with good amenities. It is self check in, and we only saw staff at breakfast time. They were friendly and helpful. We got a pitcher of fresh drinking water and some treats in our room, which was nice. Also always had a parking spot. But the view of Liechtenstein and the valley below was incredible. We could sit on our hotel balcony and watch the sun set over the mountain unforgettable. Would definetely stay here again.

Reviewed By Ilovetotravel155I was impressed with this hotel. Quality/price ratio is outstanding, the room was huge, the quality and cleanliness of the place was perfect. Modern, self-checking, laundry, free parking and restaurant (it was closed bcos of Easter though) - frankly i would definitely stay here again! We had a great stay and the breakfast was delicious.

Price / quality rating is hard to determine: it is Liechtenstein, which is even more expensive than Switzerland... At almost €200 not cheap for sure. The hotel is central but in Vaduz that hardly matter since it is a village of just around 5000 inhabitants and everything is nearby.

Reviewed By daftwulliehier stimmt alles: leckeres essen , tolle lage, super übernachtungsmöglichkeit einschließlich tollem frühstück. dass die zimmer keine eigenen duschen haben, könnte einige abschrecken, aber dürfte bei unterkünften dieser art eher normal sein. u.a. eine große auswahl an käse-fondues läd dazu sein, sich auch kulinarisch hier verwöhnen zu lassen. hinzu kommt ein frühstücksbuffet, das zwar keine riesen-auswahl bietet, aber a) alle geschmäcker bedienen können sollte und b) größtenteils selbstgemacht oder regional erzeugt wurde. SEHR zu empfehlen

Quaint but basic hotel - let down by the attitude of proprietress

The hotel is situated up a snow covered road that is impossible to drive up so one needs to use the transfer shuttle. When we told the proprietress that we needed to depart early to catch a plane - we were given a proper dressing down. Having said that she eventually made a plan for us to take our bags to the car the evening before and then in the morning sled down to our car with our hand luggage, (a novel way to leave a hotel). The rooms are basic but are well priced.

Reviewed By KirkobiUnfortunately, we only had one night in Liechtenstein, but Fernsicht was amazing and we had a wonderful time! There are restaurants within walking distance and the town is close by and easy to navigate via driving. The view was Fernsicht was incredible and we were lucky enough to be able to observe a lightening storm above the mountains! We highly recommend this B&B.

From great to below average!
Reviewed By Unknown MThis was our third stay at the Meierhof hotel. Several years ago, back in 2017, we stayed there with my mother-in-law, visiting us from Hong Kong. It was wonderful with very friendly staff at the reception and during breakfast. The room was great and cleaned every day. We felt welcome and appreciated the overall service. In December 2019 we stayed for a few nights with my daugther visiting from the US - and we had a small appartment. Although there was only the self check-in availale, it was a decent stay. The appartement also had a small kitchen, was clean and of good standard. Breakfast was ok too with friendly staff and a decent choice. But it was not as good as back in 2017. We now stayed again at the Meierhof hotel, visiting family and friends for the first time in 18 months - due to the pandemic. The self check-in still felt very unpleasant - it is a machine and not a person. The room was ok. My main criticism: the first day the room was not made. We were told that we had the red sign outside the door. This is true - until we left for the day around 0900 hours. There is one staff member present during breakfast. The first person was wearing her mask (not properly but at least). For the 2nd two days the staff member was not even bothered wearing a mask. And they did not say anything to guests entering the breakfast room / lobby who were not wearing a mask. This should not happen. I doubt that Liechtenstein would have different rules on this important topic. We asked twice for the shower gel to be filled up (we were running low). That did not happen either . There is no telephone in the room and no minibar either. The safe in our room was broken. Meierhof was a great hotel - when they still had staff around - staff with a smile. Profit is now more important. Saving from staff available (the breakfast person also seems to clean the rooms) to a very limited breakfast selection: It has a serious impact on how we felt and I think for the price paid (not the most expensive but at 150 EUR per night not the cheapest hotel either) we got very little value. Our next stay in the area will probably cost us more as we will go for a different hotel - we are willing to pay for good service. Clearly something we do not get anymore at the Meierhof hotel.

The breakfast they prepared was just the best I have experienced. The food was organic and locally made, and very tasty. I had such a great time at this hotel.

Reviewed By endofavaO hotel é localizado em uma rodovia que liga a cidade de Vaduz, fica próximo da estação de trem e bem em frente possui uma parada de ônibus que te leva para os principais pontos do país. O hotel é muito confortável e aconchegante, possui um pub na recepção e possui uma vista dos alpes que é de tirar o fôlego, Liechtenstein é um país caro, mas esse hotel tem um bom custo benefício para a região. O pessoal que trabalha no hotel é educadíssimo e sempre te dão dicas de lugares para se fazer visitação...O café da manha é super requintado, estilo Suiço...muito capricho...
