The place doesn't look very cosy at arrival and some rooms have shared toilet and shower but the extremely clean and well organised facilities and the very good breakfast sure make up for that. Owner Ingrid is on top of things and always busy, but makes time for your questions.

Reviewed By Willem DWe were here for a holiday, with the motorbike. we made 2 tours with the owner of the hotel. Top class. the food that we have got was very good and spicy. we have got some Indonesian food...woow! The rooms are simple and the toilets and showers are located at the corridor, but that was no problem, because there were enough showers, almost 1 per 2 rooms. There was also a parkinglodge for our motorbike with connections for loading up the battery

Free Wifi and continental breakfast included in the price. Only 20 mins drive from Billund Airport, and Legoland, Hotel in situated in a quiet well kept village.

Reviewed By Beata BI was a bit scared to spent the night there as I have heard it was a horrible place. However, I must say the place is good for this price. I have the impression that it is made from the old hospital but it doesn't matter - the rooms are clean, the beds are ok and if you stay there do not hesitate to take breakfast - it costs only 50kr but it is totally worth it. I have been positively surprised, as I didnt think we can get a good breakfast for 50kr. However, all in all I think it is a nice place and I could stay there again if needed.

Lovely family stay in Danish small town
Reviewed By Christine SWe stayed in the 4-person appartment for only one night but wished we could have stayed much longer. The location is off the beaten path but perfect for any family who enjoys a nature setting versus a hotel in the city. The appartment has 2 bedrooms so everyone slept in their own bed, a large kitchen, a cozy living room, a clean and modern bathroom (shower only), a washing machine and a semi-private large garden with swings and deer only feet away. If you walk to the main building, the kids have access to a trampoline, zip line, tree swing and they can see and pet some of the farm animals in residence (cows, goats, chickens, pigs, bunnies). My kids (7 and 9) were in complete heaven. The only downside, which is not a big deal, is that you are expected to clean when you leave. I highly recommend this place to families with children. We would love to come back another time.

Æblebakkens høhotel and B & B. We have a nice place located on Jutland ridge over looking a hill next to the Hærvejen . We enjoy having guests on our farm and have therefore opened bed and breakfast. Your welcome to bring horses on the farm. We have good hay and housing for them. The rooms are located on the ground floor 3 in the 1st floor of the farmhouse, and are furnished with a double bed with possibility for beds for more especially for families. The room on the 1st floor has either a south facing window or a window to the west. In the living-room terrace, door to the eas,there is access to private bathroom and toilet. On the 1st floor there is also a living room and a balcony for free use and accessiblity. The balcony faces the east with a great view of the forest and horse foliage. Adjoining the rooms is a lovely living room with a television,some books and magazines available plus a balcony facing the East. On the ground floor there is a large country kitchen.
