Very Bad
Reviewed By AndreasH4650It looks very different then the Pictures. Room Service only on Request. Fresh Towel only on Request. Very Loud (Street and Fridge in Room). No Water in Room or Coffee or Tea. For the Price we had much better Hotels in Taiwan. Some Stuff disappeared from our luggage we are not sure but suspect it disappeared at this hotel. I dont understand why the reviews are good its really bad even for a cheap hostel/hotel.

Reasonable Price
Reviewed By Joomie SI stayed Happy Inn last month with my partner for 2 nights. The hotel very convenience because next to street food. The guy in night shift was nice and helpful. The room was great excepted a bad smell from the toilet pipe. No meal included but hotel provided big living area with coffee machine, microwave, computer all good quality equipment for guest. For the price is nice to stay.

Decent Budget Stay
Reviewed By Cal_TheHotelLoverHappens to be only a stopover before my Sun Moon Lake stay, this Taichung boutique hotel were quite decent despite asking budget range of rates. Locate in centre of multiple attractions here, with okay room amenities. I don’t quite like the “king bed” set up from two twin beds, with two twin quilts etc. The bathtub in the room were small. Room has a emergency fire escape which I think was weird - I’ve stay in a few city hotels now in Taiwan and this is a first. Probably would try the better tub room with a balcony one day.

Slow Town Hotel-Glowing is located in the Central area of Taichung City. A perfect choice for a holiday and a relaxing break. Travelers can easily access the major tourist, shopping and dining locations in the city. Accommodations regulation: Check in after 3 PM. Check out before 11 AM. No smoking , gambling and drinking alcohol heavily in the room .Please keep the voice down after 10 PM.

Extremely affordable
Reviewed By SaedahSulaimanStayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was very clean and had all amenities. It was easy to check in and check out. The only issue was we didn't note that the hotel doesn't take credit card payment and only accepts cash. Thankfully we had sufficient cash. Otherwise the hotel was centrally located and it was easy to get by. It was definitely worth the money.

Accessible and affordable
Reviewed By Kates AThe hotel is easy to find. Taichung Park is 5 minutes away. The TRA (train) and Taichung Cultural Center is also nearby. There are bikes for rent in Taichung Park and can be used to roam around. The “rooms” are small and the divider is very very thin. Silence is really emphasized. Like you would be guilty to do anything at night even to cough or breath. It can also get hot as the aircondition is not that cold. Aside from the small rooms, there are also cute tents. There is a laundry room, water and tea are free, there is a massage chair, lounge area and workout machines. You can only eat at the lobby. The staff are all friendly and approachable. You get what you pay for.

Dishonest
Reviewed By Jesse DI rented a room here for two hours, in the very early morning. The clerk never took my id or issued me a receipt, which is a legal requirement of all hotels in Taiwan. But since it was about 5:00am I didn't think about it at the time. Then he called me to tell me my time was up about 20 minutes early, and demanded that I pay more if I didn't leave right away. I guess he assumed that I wouldn't know or be able to prove what time I had arrived. But, fortunately, just before I went in I bought a coffee at the convenience store over the road from the hotel, so from the receipt of that coffee I could prove that I had been in the room for less than two hours. As for the room itself, it's clean and comfortable, and it's very conveniently located near the train station and downtown area, but somewhat overpriced for the area. Also, the bathroom is so tiny that it spills out into the main room. I don't recommend it, but if you do stay there make sure you get a receipt and check your credit card is charged correctly.

Reviewed By Quest804310良かった点 台中駅（台鐵）から徒歩圏内です、キャリーが有っても行けますが、雨が降るときついかも。 部屋の清掃が良かったです、裸足で歩いても埃が付かない（若干足裏は黒くなります） バス停（第一広場）が真横です（タクシーで行く時はバス停の名前で通じます） 近所にアジアの各国のメシ屋が有ります（朝食時は殆ど空いてない） コンビニも近い 部屋が広い バスタブが有る 熱湯が出る（朝は温度が下がる） 宮原眼科が目の前 残念な点 ホテルの場所が分かりにくい フロントが１２階で部屋が違う階（私は１０階） 備品忘れが有る（清掃時に） 防音性は低い（窓のロックハンドルが２個のうち一つ壊れてました） ビルのテナントに映画館やカラオケが有るのか夜に人が飛び跳ねてるような音がする ベッド周りにコンセントが無い
