This really nice city gate and very tall. I saw it only from the outside. It is a must see when visiting Zwolle and is in the central area. I don't know if it is possible to visit inside but I didn't see anyone going in on the Sunday I visited. I've seen many other nice city gates in the Netherlands and this is to me second only slightly behind the great Koppelspoort in Amersfoort. The area outside the gate has a nice canal.

This theatre is modern, clean and has a lot to offer. They have great shows. But keep in mind if you buy one of the cheapest tickets, you'll sit very high and might not see everything as well as you want to. Do not cut down on the price.
Easy to get here by bus and great parking availability just next to the theatre.

This is simply a good tower to get a nice view over the city - and that view is alright because of the historic buildings in Zwolle. In my opinion the spectacular views within the Netherlands are often found in Zeeland, where the alternations between water and land add a nice background to the historic attractions.

Bonami SpelComputer Museum

We're holidaying with teenagers from the UK - so glad we discovered this retro gaming museum as we spent a great couple of hours there. It's in a warehouse/former sorting office, just 5/10 minutes walk from the centre of lovely Zwolle and doesn't look much from outside but inside was fantastic. We were greeted by the friendly English-speaking owner/manager who explained what we could and couldn't touch (they have some rare old computers they have to look after) and then we spent over two hours reminiscing and playing from a vast choice of old consoles and arcade games. They also serve snacks and have a good memorabilia shop there too. Would highly recommend it for teenagers or anyone who loved gaming in the past (or present!).

I go here regularly for company meetings. Because it is an old monastery it brings out the best in people. Between meetings you can wander the corridors and regain you energy from the silence.
The church attached to the monastery is something you must see.
They provide food if you need it.Simple but good.
