I think this museum is getting better and better. I do like how it hasn't remained the same, it changes and evolves over time. I took my kids and they just loved it. There is a nice balance between written info and visuals and audio. I like the kids room where they can play with artifacts too. This museum does a very good job at depicting what life was like when Canada was young and how Canada became what it is today. I hope to make it the Thershermen's show next summer. I have not attended in a very long time. The giftshop is cute and has some interesting items. I must say though that this museum is CLEAN. The floors shine, the windows are spotless. It's very noticeable how much hard work has gone in to this museum. I recommend a stop here. It's worth the $.

This is a great indoor family facility featuring a swimming pool, soccer fields, hockey arena, curling rink and convention centre. It's the place to be for community sports action in Yorkton.

Your typical SLGA casino in sask. It's decent and somewhat upkept. The smoking still bothers me as it seems the ventilation is never good enough. Good food and a nice place to spend an evening.

I was in Yorkton last week and I heard of a new micro brewery that opened up.It is not much to look at from the outside, but once you go in it looks impressive!! There's six tanks set up and there is a chalk board behind the serving area with your choices of craft beers. Dustin is the server and he knows his craft beers. I asked for a "flight", which is samples that you chose, and if you like one, you have a choice of a larger glass. They sell growlers in two sizes 32 or 64 oz and you can take your craft beer home with you. If you have time and looking for something different to do in Yorkton, stop by and check out the brewery. BTW, the old truck up in the corner is really cool.

Recently we went on a weekend excursion to Yorkton and decided to pass some time downtown. We ended up in the bowling alley and had a great time, the price was reasonable and the counter employee was very attentive and happy. This was a great way to spend some time with our family. It was a busy place, but the noise level was very good. Enjoyed by all !!

Theatre is very old. But has been slowly upgraded over the years. It is probably nearing another upgrade or even a replacement. I would probably recommend people that don't like it to email the company and make suggestions so that they see there is a need to get more screens and upgrade the place
