静浜基地にて、毎年５月に行われる航空祭には、一般の人でも航空自衛隊の基地内に入ってショーを見学する事が出来ます。当日は、自衛隊車両などの展示や見学も行われていました。朝9時からのプログラム通りに進んで行き、最後には、浜松基地から飛行して来たブルーインパルスの迫力のある曲技飛行を見る事が出来ました。会場内はコンクリートの照り返しが強く、レジャーシートが禁止されているエリアが多いので、折りたたみの出来る小さめのイスがあると便利です。子供から大人まで、一日楽しめる内容で、とても良かったです。

１月末に訪問しました。
小さなお子さんがみえる方には低価格で楽しめる施設だと思います。
色々と体験でき、大人でも楽しめました。
施設内には５台ほどのＰＣがあって、
クイズが出題され、自分は２０分ほどハマってしまいました。
結構こちらは、子供よりも大人がハマっていました。
施設内にはプラネタリウムもありましたが、こちらは少々値が張ります。
（確か６００円／人）
娘（９か月）がもう少し大きくなったら、また訪問したい施設です。

桜の時期になると、車でちょっと出かけます。土日は花見客で混雑しますので、平日の午前中にでかけます。ささやかながら、私の年中行事です。ゆっくり運転し、ちょっと途中で車を止めて、写真を撮ります。川の両側に咲く淡い桜がとても綺麗です。

This fireworks festival is visited by 200,000 spectators annually. A wide variety of fireworks of all shapes and sizes are blasted into the air, close to 5,000 in all. The most exciting is a triple-blast of bombs shot in succession. Seeing the fireworks "bloom" in the night sky on such a large scale is thrilling. Yaizu Harbor, where the event is held, is a spacious venue, so you can watch the fireworks in comfort.

毎年お盆に開催されます。
最寄りJR焼津駅となり徒歩で約15分の場所になります。
駅からも徒歩で行ける場所なので、車で行くとかえって不便です。
港で開催され、海上に見事な花火が打ち上がります。
見どころは職人技の光る珍しい2尺玉の3連発です。
今回は迫力ある花火を視界を遮るもののなく、焼津新港の城之腰埠頭が
絶好の場所です。
打ち上げ時間は19時半から１時間ほどでした。

For those who are interested in this place, I'd like to recommend followings;
a) You had better investigate about this area before you visit. There are some historical buildings of Edo era, but you may not know what to see without pre-information.
b) You should wear the clothing that is suitable for walking on the mountain paths. Of course you must not put hi-heels!
This area is an old village with old buildings of more than 100 years ago. The bases of houses there are something like stone walls. It's the beginning of mountain walking courses, and you may feel natures a lot!
For your information, there's a cafe with an old house of Japanese style. I believe you can enjoy the taste of Japanese room there. The prices of drinks are quite reasonable.

The Yaizu Minato Festival is a spring celebration held every April in Yaizu, Shizuoka. The diverse range of events distinctive of this port city include lottery drawings for locally crafted goods, a tuna weight-guessing contest, pole fishing for bonito, and a chance for the public to board boats that are usually off limits. There will also be a stage hosting a great number of comedy, dance, and other events. Buying fresh seafood right on the spot is also a great pleasure.

桜が散った後の４月の初旬に焼津港内で開催されます。
水産物の販売、大量のかつおが販売されていました。
地場産品や当たる大福引や特設ステージでは、ライブトーク、焼津出身の歌手やバンド総出演で賑わってました。
また、駿河丸、橋本丸（遠洋漁船）の船内を一般公開しており興味深かったです。
その他カツオ一本釣り体験や農産物の販売などのイベントもありました。
