Farming comes first. Since planting the first vine in l996, winemaker Mike Hallock has farmed sustainably: no herbicides or pesticides. Cover crop conversion to the Willamette Valley’s native grasses enhances the vineyard’s soil biodiversity. Carabella is a member of the Deep Roots Coalition; the well-drained volcanic soils have allowed 100% dry farming of the entire 59 planted acres. Mike Hallock has made pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot gris exclusively from Carabella fruit since the first harvest in 1998. Appointment only

We visited this park a couple of times on a recent visit of family in the area. We enjoyed the disc golf course and some of the open green space on the first visit and then returned later with the entire family for a picnic at one of the shelters. Lots of open space, great features, and many athletic fields and walking trails. There is a lot to see and do at this location.

This is such an amazing place for kids. We took our three kids there for one of their birthdays. We all had so much fun. It was a little pricy but for being there all day it really wasn’t bad.
