This place is fantastic. My sons love everything; the arcade, the dark ride, the outside rides, the go-kart track, the mini golf, “shopping” for their prizes, Ballocity...when I say they love everything, I mean it! The food is good, the restrooms are always clean which I really really appreciate, and the staff is friendly. I have nothing bad to say about Fun Fore All. My husband and I enjoy it just as much as the kids! Check out their seasonal events too, like Halloween mini golf. For what you get at this place, the prices can’t be beat. We have to drive 40 minutes to get to Fun Fore All and we don’t mind, it’s that good!

Go Ape Treetop Adventure Course

It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’. That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

This is a short adventure course that focuses on rope obstacles rather than zip lines. It is located in busy Allison Park. There is only minimal orientation from staff and minimal oversight as you navigate the courses on your own. The course is located in a small section of the park near the 65 acre lake. It takes about 3 hours to complete depending on your speed and crowds. It was a little concerning that they did not use helmets which is a first for us. They also wouldn't let us wear our own helmets which was even stranger. The highlight for us was the 2 swings into the nets. Parking can be a serious issue on weekends. Book in advance and arrive early to battle for a parking spot. Book an early time to avoid waiting during the course. Would have been 4 stars but the lack of provided helmets and preventing us from wearing our own helmets is very concerning and very atypical. Also the company did not seem to closely regulate how many people were allowed onto the course at a given time which caused long waits and lines. You can negate a better price for larger groups and they do offer AAA discounts. Think twice about taking smaller children here, also be prepared to get dirty and gain a few scrapes, bruises and scratches. Some of the difficult courses have alternative routes for soft fearful types.

We stopped here for dinner while in the area based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. For a Saturday night, we were seated immediately and the waitress was prompt. We started with the Pretzels App, which is three large hot, soft pretzels, about the size of a hot dog. They were excellent. However, at $9, too expensive for what we were served. The meals all came quickly, and were all delicious. The hamburgers were cooked as requested, the sweet potatoes hash browns really good. We were very pleased and enjoyed our meals. They also offered free wifi, which is a bonus.

Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum

The WPMRM is a nonprofit organization located in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, at the intersection of Rt. 910 and Hardt Rd. Our purpose is to promote and preserve the history of railroads in Western Pennsylvania through the hobby of model railroading. Our mission is: to continue the development of a museum which captures in miniature a portion of western Pennsylvania history; to expand the library which houses a collection of reference materials on railroad industry and resources on model railroading; to serve as an educational resource for the people of western Pennsylvania. This in part, is accomplished by the Museum's main attraction, a 40' X 100' scale representation of the tracks between Pittsburgh, Pa. and Cumberland, Md. set in the summer of 1952. In addition to this display, the museum also maintains a collection of historical model train sets and authentic railroad related items dating as far back as the beginning of the 20th century. The Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum holds an Annual Holiday Train show each year starting mid-November and ending in mid-January.

The Western PA Model Railroad Museum is a scale model railroad stretching from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, MD. My wife and I loved that we could recognize different buildings and landmarks throughout the railroad. In particular, I travel to Cumberland for business a lot and recognized many of the buildings in the display. The railroad has been lovingly and carefully crafted and is worth visiting.

Knob Hill Disc Golf Course

Reviewed By Vince S - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Awesome 18 hole disc golf course in Cranberry. They have done some serious renovations since the last time I was there. The ‘Pro’ tees are all nicely finished, most with stones outlining the runway. Paths clearly marked.

Sense of great maintenance as well as lots of ‘crowd sourced’ renovations, such as outlining the paths with tree branches to make sure they are clearly marked. Also clearly marked are the locations of the next tee once you complete a hole, something not always apparent with all disc golf courses

A great mix of challenging holes as well as more manageable ones.

There are multiple holes that require a significant climb up or down a hill, just as a note. Course is not flat. Paths in the woods are all very clear, easy to navigate through.

Trash receptacles at nearly every hole, so no need to carry garbage very long. No courses over water.

Course is very popular, so expect there to be large amounts of traffic if you are going on a peak time (weekends).

Lots of parking available, never an issue.
