Reimagining itself in recent years, Westport Country Playhouse is rapidly emerging as a nationally recognized professional theater. This wonderful farmers market has a number of vendors but we love Riverbank Farms and their wonderful fresh produce and prepared foods. Their hot sauce is awesome as is there hummus.

We are a couple with A 16 month who we wanted to bring to the ocean for the first time. We chose this beach as it was open to out of staters like us. It was easy to find and get into, easy to navigate once in, and an easy walk from the parking lot to the beach. The water was calm with some small waves, and while shallow, you could swim without going too far out. the beach was a very large area with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Some recommendations-wear closed toed water shoes-the sand is rough with pebbles and stones (my husband had keen sandal on and they were full of stones) and bring bug spray, we had a hard time with some biting flies. The bathrooms were open and had outdoor showers to rinse off and lots of changing stalls inside. Overall a very good beach and we would definitely go again!
