Aqua Park Reda

Reviewed By AUSLion - Auckland Central, New Zealand

Visiting with family from Poland and traveled 2 hours to (self) proclaimed 'best' aqua park in the country. Whilst the array of aqua activities is good, it is by far not the best we have visited in Poland. Good concepts, but only on par or slightly behind other parks, and certainly not up to the latest slides that you will experience in other parts of Europe or the best parks in places like Dubai.
As others have mentioned, upon arrival you are confronted with a queue to take a ticket and wait to be called forward to purchase entrance. One can only assume this is an attempt to manage flow of venue capacity, but based on our experience, with more than 45 minutes queuing time inside per family slide, the venue was way too overcrowded. As others have mentioned, there are also some safety issues with management of the slides. Not only were they overcrowded, but you can slide as soon as you like. We too experienced some collision from young and over enthusiastic users.
We need to also mention here that we did receive some assistance for a priority entry as we were travelling with a person with a disability; but only after we asked 3 people and then asked to speak with a manager to clarify their policy that only if you were in a wheelchair would you be able to receive assistance. Reluctantly, the manager allowed us to enter. If not, we had a 3+ hour wait and we would have turned around and gone home.
In terms of price, it was one of the more expensive parks in Poland we have visited. Couple that with the queue times, we actually spent more time out of the water for our money than in it! So from our experience, we would not recommend travelling to Reda just to go to the park. If you are close by and want to brave the queues, up to you, but we would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.

Explosive - Sapper Museum

"Explosive" Sapper Museum was formed in 2010. Since 2015 it's located in former military unit in Dąbrowka near Luzino (about 10 km from Wejherowo), Poland. Museum results from 20 years of explosive ordnance disposal works and exchange of museum pieces with collectors from all over the Europe. Knowledge and passion of the owners allowed to create very interesting museum with collection of sappers equipment, ammunition, bombs, grenades, shells, mines etc. Next to the "Explosive" Sapper Museum there is another fantastic museum - "Gryf" Museum of Military Technique which offers technically operational tanks and vehicles from 2nd world war. Last enterence to the museum: 17:00 (5:00 PM)

Nowoczesna, czysta i miła. Pani "bibliotekarka" bardzo pomocna i miła. Warto wejść by zobaczyć coś takiego!

My polecamy bardzo

We spend an hour to go there and the whole sightseeing takes us 5 minutes. Cave is too big word for that. They are nice, maybe for children, who didn's see real cave. For adults, maybe quite fun because you have to bow down whole route.

Reviewed By Rutgerek - Komorow, Poland

We went out to the Wieża Widokowa, or "Viewing Tower", and found it to be located in a small theme park called "Kaszubskie Oko". Theme park is a lot of words for something consisting of a few dinosaur statues and a giant chess board plus a third rate coffee shop (water with coffee taste, yuk). Everything centers around the viewing tower. The construction is quite interesting, made up of concrete and twisting steel cables. There's a lift if you don't want to climb a gazillion steps. The view is quite good, but not spectacular. Did spend some nice quality time with my son playing chess on the giant board next to the coffee house. It was refreshing, certainly.
