As others have said, this is truly not all about kewpies. This was a beautiful and fascinating place with lovely host volunteers (thank you, Gloria and Master Gardner’s). It is worth your time and you will leave with an appreciation for Rose O’Neill. Just go.

Bear creek stables

Reviewed By ThorCCC - Crown Point, United States

This was recommended to us by the concierge. When we pulled in we went right to the check and even though we were early, we they got us saddled up right away. The guides were very pleasant during the trip and the horses were great. My 7 year old was so excited to ride a horse by herself and her horse was fantastic! It only took an hour and it went by quickly. They only take cash so be prepared.

My grand daughter enjoys drawing, so when I planned a trip to Branson, I found the Maple Hill Ceramics art studio and made an appointment for us to paint there. What a treat it was! We were greeted by Freeman when we arrived (after he helped us find the correct route after getting turned around). He had everything ready for us when arrived. We spent 2 1/2 hours painting, with Freeman's guidance. He took us on a tour of the facility while our projects dried. There was an aura of peace when we stepped through the doors. Freeman seemed to really care about making sure we enjoyed our time there. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Maple Hill Ceramics! It will always been one of those days that brings back great memories!

Our 13 and 14 year old grandsons had a blast tubing here. You pay by the hour, so how many times down during that time depends upon the number of people tubing. They actually went down about 20 times. Discount coupons are available for this venue. This is really fun for people of all ages, we just decided to watch them have fun.

This small distillery is a great place to visit. The tour takes about half an hour and you can hear and talk from the guy who actually does the distilling. The tasting room upstairs offers a flight of 6 types of whiskey, moonshine and rum they make on property. The half ounce samples are $10 for the flight of 6. They also have infused liquors, a fight of 3 for $10. They also serve mixed drinks using their distilled brews.

This was our second stay at Bear Creek Winery / Bed and Breakfast for us. The quite atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable after a hectic week of work and stress. To be in the middle of the Ozarks surrounded by trees where the view is so absolutely breathtaking is an experience everyone should try to do once in their lives. We plan to visit again in the fall when the leaves start to turn their brilliant color of orange, yellow and reds.

Creation Experience Museum

Experience the Bible like you never have before at the world's only creation museum offering free guided tours and free admission to all visitors. Take a free guided tour from Creation to Christ with Artifacts, Displays, Multi-media presentations, and more!

Reviewed By andyp256 - Paris, United States

A free museum in Branson is rare and this one though small is a really good visit. Here you are presented with a different point of of view which includes science. It is a guided tour. There is lots of stuff to see and hear. Plan on at least an hour from when your tour starts. How soon your tour starts when you get there depends on how long the tour before you has been going. Though smaller (they are planning on building a bigger place closer to branson) the exhibits are every bit as good as the larger creation museum in Kentucky, content wise. Do yourself a favor and try it, it's free so there is no risk.
