Of all the coves we have visited in Croatia over the last two months, this is high on the list. Whether you arrive by boat or trek down from the car park, it's a must. The view from half way down the trail is spectacular but be warned, it's slow going and a real hike. Wear suitable footwear. It will take you at least 30 mins. The snack bar at the bottom serves drinks and sandwiches. The water is amazingly clear with a lot of fish, fauna and rocks - great for snorkelling.

This was unforgettable tailor made trip done by our captain Davor with his classy speedboat!
We explored the Islands of Vis and Bisevo and visited 3 different caves in one day: Blue, Green and Monk Seal caves which are ture natural wanders, we paddled 2 of these caves but also cliffs and lonely bays that our captain took us to and had really unique adventure. Stand up paddle boards are provided by the company!
The captain briefed us on the each spot we visited and we learned a lot about the local culture and history. We were provided cool water and finished the day with a cold beer. Is there a better end?
I would strongly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for something different and for true local experience...

We went on a speed boat tour around island Vis visiting Blue Cave, Green Cave, Stiniva Beach, Stončica Beach and submarine base.
The tour and the guide (Pino) were excellent. We saw and learned a lot about the island Vis.
Big thanks to Alternatura for an amazing day.

When we came to Vis, we found out we were fooled since there wasn't the apartment I had booked and paid in advance and the "owner" didn't answer my phone calls. We were desperate. I turned to Paiz and they were extremely helpful, they offered all the advice and help we needed. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to go on one of the tours they offer, but we bought some souvenirs. I strongly recomend anyone visiting Vis to turn to them for advice, informatioand if you need, help.

Visited in june, not crowded at all then. Sun super hot until the late afternoon, water nice, clean, and cool. The beach has a large part with white, medium sized pebbles, as well as another part with a sloped rock surface. Beach was clean and romantic, which we couldn't say about Stoncica we visited before. We visited it twice during our short stay in Vis.

The B-24 Diving Centre (previously B-17), located on the beach called Jurkovica, in an entirely reconstructed space of the former wood-shipyard in Komiza, ranks among the largest and the most beautiful diving centres in the Adriatic. It was named after the American B-24 bomber, known as the last specimen of the Liberator, also called Tulsamerican, sunk on December 17th 1944, in the vicinity of the Island of Vis, at the depth of 42 metres.

I called ahead this dive center to arrange diving for me and snorkelling for my child and friend who are non-divers. I also went straight there when I arrived to finalise the arrangements. They made me wait around for an hour, then said they were fully booked with 2 tour groups (which they must have known about in advance) and their boat wasn't suitable for children as it had no cover. Ended up having the best day with the children at Issa dive center who were accommodating and friendly. I didn't dive here, but if this organisation is anything to go by I am not sure I would want to.

This is not really an attraction, it is just the highest point on the island, the view is wonderful and it is very atmospheric with its little chapel We took a picnic and watched the sunset, very few people and very peaceful.

The island Vis offers amazing diving locations: beautiful flora and fauna, wrecks, caves,...The life under water takes your breath away. OK, not literally. A professional dive team from the Issa Dive Centre takes care for enough air and good guidance. They are experienced, good organized and friendly. That was my third and definitely not the last diving vacation in Komiža with the Issa Dive Centre.
