Vietri sul Mare ("Vietri on the Sea") is a town and comune in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of southern Italy. It is situated just west of Salerno, separated from the Port of Salerno by only a harbour wall. The town is known for its polychrome ceramics, a tradition since at least the 15th century, and is considered to be the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.

We toured the vineyard in the evening, followed by an incredible dinner. My group of 4, including an 18 year old, was joined by a group of 6 and we mixed really well. That was due in large part to Alphonso, our tour guide/leader for the evening. We had a very interesting tour of the facility and the wine making process, then a lovely early evening stroll through the vineyard. We arrived at the house on the hill for dinner and were blown away at the view...incredible. Dinner was copious and delicious, served with a selection of the wines produced on site. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and billed the evening as a highlight of our trip.

Il Calypso è uno stabilimento balneare che sorge a marina di vietri sul mare a ridosso della montagna da cui sgorga continuamente acqua grazie ad una sorgente naturale. Nasce nel 1958 come "marinell ri ninnill" ovvero spiaggia dei bambini e da allora si caratterizza per la sua tranquillità adatta appunto a famiglie e persone che vogliono allontarsi dal caos e godersi una giornata a mare in pieno relax.

This beautiful church stands out like a beacon of light welcoming everyone to come to it. It's beauty really stands out and it is the first thing you see when you enter Vietri sul Mare. the dome is like no other we saw when visiting churches throughout Italy. Do not pass an opportunity to visit this wonderful church.
