There are various kind of art to enjoy. Modern works of contemporary artists in addition to the classic sculptures of Emil Wikström. The drawings of Kari Suomalainen are also interesting. The buildings and their interiors are works of art also. The cafe has got fresh buns and pastries, and pretty good coffee.

This is a diverse region to visit. It's possible to take the trip just for walking and the beautiful landscape of admiration. On the other hand there are a lot of history to explore from the Ice Age onwards. Next to the ridge is also the art center, where you can visit and see the temporary Exhibitions and enjoy a cup of coffee in the cafeteria.

Bellissima cittàdina finlandese con ampi spazzi verdi e molti servizi con un bellissimo fiume pieno di barche e moto d'acqua piste ciclabili e aria fresca ci sono stato ad agosto con temperature in Italia insopportabili ma li davvero clima gradevole adatto per famiglia con bambini ci si rilassa di sicuro anche perché il traffico è inesistente e con ottimi servizi di trasporto e con una educazione civica davvero invidiabile

This museum is located at 3rd floor of old plant building. It is very close to Valkeakoski center at channel embarkment.
The museum contains many things connected with Finnish and world football (soccer). Photos, stamps, prises, balls and football forms are joined here in few rooms.
You can see a small part of old Finnish stadium too. And there is possibility to play room football.
Many historical materials are very interested of course.

Koskikara Shopping Centre has a very limited range of things, but usually it's enough. There's a grocery store, fast food joint, a restaurant, café, alcohol shop, clothes and some this-and-that. Possible to find some small & expensive souvenirs. At the time of writing this Koskikara is the only shopping centre in Valkeakoski, but another one is supposed to open in the end of the year, just few hundred meters away.

A lo largo de mi estancia en Koski frecuente liino varias veces, es agradable tener un lugar de reunión donde salir de fiesta con los amigos de vez en cuando. A pesar de esto Liino es un lugar pequeño, con buena música pero donde a la minima que salen un par de grupos no cabe nadie mas. Los precios son razonables para finlandia.

I attended to the opening of an exhibition of the art- and architectural line of Päivölän college.
At the same time, I had the opportunity to learn about the history of Valkeakoski from the Museum's historic exhibition. There was information, pictures and objects from the early age of the factory.
