During the first two years of work it presented 13 premiers and welcomed about half a million spectators. The opera and ballet scene saw rapid development. The talented artists came to the theatre, a repertoire was enlarged, and cooperation with the prominent musical theatre figures began. Today the theatre plays a significant role in Russian culture. The People’s and Honored Artists of Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureates of international and All-Russian competitions and prizes work in the theatre. A lovely place to sit and relax, very peaceful right in the centre of the city. One of the many monuments to see as you wall the streets.
