We discovered this centre by accident whilst driving out of Hervey Bay to return home. The stunning huge whale sculpture out the front caught our eye from the roadside so we pulled up. Boy, were we glad! The sculpture is beautiful, and not only that but the large landscaped surrounds also had other smaller sculptures to view. We took many photos, and then became more curious as the standard of the building was obviously high. We went in just before closing on the Sunday afternoon. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Exhibitions inside were top class, especially the current art exhibition. The section on whales and the environs of Maryborough and the lung fish were fascinating and so well done. There is a retail shop inside with some lovely crafts and classy souvenir items too. We will certainly go back to spend more time there as we really had to rush through it too fast. The Gardens are a great place to take the kids too, perhaps have a picnic as well as there are some very colourful children sculptures there too.

I took my 85yo mother in law out yesterday with this company after checking suitability for someone who has mobility issues. they assured me that all would be fine. Apart from the very steep ramp down to the boarding area, not their fault, it really was. We parked up the front of the boat with her walker and headed out. The staff were fun, informative, considerate and caring and know their stuff. Whilst we saw plenty of whales I was again cheated on a breach but the ability to listen to their whale songs more than made up for it. I will be back again :)

for our parents 55th wedding anniversary we travelled to Hervey Bay for the day. There were 7 of us aged from 15-84. And we all had a blast doing the Wizard/Potter room. Only 2 of us had ever done escape rooms before. My niece: in Brisbane and me: in Los Angeles, where I live, I've done at least 6 rooms there and I'm so relieved & happy to share that Adrian's Breakout room did not disappoint at all. It was awesome in fact. He has created great puzzles. Great attention to detail in the set design and it's non-stop fun chasing clues around the space. I can highly recommend going and doing all his rooms. We're keen to get back and do more soon
