The was a hoot of a night out. I love this theatre, beautifully restored, almost a step back in time. Not as far back as when I went roller skating at this venue in the late 1970s. The entertainment is much better now. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby (we ate at Toro) and easy parking. The band were great, looking and sounding authentic - they put a lot of effort into re-creating what it might have been like to see the Beatles (except for the screaming girls as it was a much older crowd).
If you are driving to or from Sydney, take the Lawrence Hargrave Drive route and cross the Sea Cliff bridge - gorgeous scenery!

This was a wonderful small group surf lesson with Ethan at The Farm. Ethan was extremely knowledgeable, very funny and made us all feel comfortable instantly. For a newbie like me, it was the best introduction to Surfing I could have. I managed to stand up, though not very gracefully, but it didn't matter because every time I fell off or got smashed by a wave, I found myself coming up out of the water with a big smile on my face. I will definitely be booking in another lesson but this time I want to bring some more friends along. Great location for beginners, great instructor. If you're considering booking in, just do it.

I can't believe it has taken me so long to walk over this bridge, though we have driven over it numerous times. It was an easy walk, though extremely hot at 11am. Wouldn't recommend on a really hot day. A beautiful part of the world, and worth a visit when in the area.

We just spent a lovely afternoon here - 3 kids aged 7,9 and 11 all enjoyed the playground and maze. Then we wandered through the rose garden and around the duck lake. There are BBQs and plenty of beautiful big old trees with ample shade for a lovely picnic

Bald Hill Lookout & Hang Gliding Spot

Reviewed By FilBee - Canberra, Australia

If coming down into Wollongong along this route, Bald Hill provides a welcome rest stop with fabulous views, an excellent cafe, toilets that talk to you and serenade you while you.. ahem, do your thing and the chance to watch para gliders and hang gliders sail off the top of the cliff and soar over the hills and ocean. Absolutely beautiful spot with the opportunity to walk back behind the hill into the bush and be deafened by a cacophony of cicadas. In summer there is also an ice cream truck in the lower car park run by the cafe which is a big hit with youngsters and perhaps some, not so youngsters as well.

South of Sydney, this a great family-run farm. Easy to get there (if you have a car), not far from other fantastic attractions like Symbio Wildlife Park and the Scarborough Hotel, and run by friendly, easy-going people like Glenn who threw in a few jokes for good measure. Pick apples, nectarines, peaches and raspberries and pay for what you pick. With mother nature and the supermarkets making it hard for the little man, support these guys and their great little shop on the farm with treats like apple cider and yellow box honey. My family and I love this place. Get out there in the Sunshine

In seventy years of an adventure filled life, there is simply nothing to compare with the the life enriching experience of hang gliding with Oz. I wish to thank Tony and his staff who worked with my daughter to created a birthday gift beyond all expectations. Thanks to Ausilia who kept in touch for a week to notify us when flight conditions would be epic and later thoughtfully edited our two videos into one wonderful keepsake memory. A special thanks to Tony for the indescribably perfect flight and fascinating conversation while soaring a mile above sea and land. As a bonus, I found that the term "Natural High" describes a long lasting reality. Felt like I was floating on air for the next few days! Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!
