The Domaine des Forges has been a family Vineyard for 5 generations. We grow over 50 hectares of vines, between two rivers, Loire and Layon. Thanks to a great variety of soils, and a very specific microclimate, we are able to make wonderful wines, from mineral and elegant dry wines like the Savennières, to powerful, fruity sweet wines like Quart de Chaume. Remembering our history and our culture, we work with traditional methods, completely respectful of the environment: tillage, natural grass growing, manual harvest, bunch thinning… Winemaking and aging are the results of an ancestral knowledge with techniques such as the batonnage for famous appellations that age in oak barrels. The results are wines with a richness and intensity that clearly show the world class potential of this style of Chenin.

Located between the Loire and the Layon, discover an exceptional terroir and revive your senses by tasting our wines.
