We stayed at Mai Chau Ecolodge for two nights and took a day trip to Pu Luong. In hindsight we wished that we had stayed in Pu Luong instead because we thought the reserve was much more scenic, peaceful and less touristy than Mai Chai. Pu Luong is off the main tourist track right now. If you are debating between visiting Mai Chau or Pu Luong, we would recommend the latter over the former. It is a very lovely area!

It's a gud idea to come here for relaxing with the natural. Driving on the road here is also an amazing experience. You can rent the boat for visiting many small islands in farther. 400.000VND/ boat.

This citadel is very unique because it was build with only stones without mortar during a very short period of time, 3 months. The landscape is very beautiful. If I come back to visit it next time, I would love to take the bycicle tour to go around the area and discover other attractions nearby.
