In direct proximity to the hotel, or bus stop, lies this great area. You have to be a good walker to get through this area, but the views, the history are worth it. A great legend, great descents into the valley. You can take the chairlift or the bus (of course you can also walk) and there are several great ways to get to the Bode-Valley.

Lovely little ride. It is not expensive (2 euros) and you can control the speed of the cart. You can really skip the "amusement park" nearby as it seems makeshift and touristy.

After a 10 km hike from treseburg we took the cable car up the mountain for a eur 20 family price. Nice views. Down at the cable center there is a kids playpark with activities for a small price per ride eur 1

We have been here before and will come again. This is a great place for children and adults. Funny houses, small shops and very good food stalls and restaurant. Enjoy a walk around and the great view. We had several rides down the rodellbahn in the wood. Great fun. We recommend to visit this place.
