It is the administrative headquarters of Sirohi District and was formerly the capital of the princely state of Sirohi ruled by Deora Chauhan Rajput. It has five Tehsils (Administrative Divisions): Abu Road, Sheoganj, Reodar, Pindwara, and Sirohi itself. It is also known as Devnagari. If you are in Mount Abu do not miss this place. It's beautiful, a temple tour guide (free) takes you around and explains everything and tells stories connected to the temples. The carvings on walls are amazingly symmetrical and detailed given that it was all done manually.

Very Peaceful Jain Temple. Well Administered. Great calm feel during night in temple. Bhajans were going during night, Big "Gau Shala" is managed very efficiently. Nice, clean and huge temple campus. A well healthy diet is available in temple's "Bhojan Shala" but they follow strict timing. No dinner available after sun sets. Must bring camera with you. many photo graphic places are there. Children will also have a fun there in camel and horse ride. Electric car and horse cart are add on to this attraction. Great facility to stay in night. Separate and secured parking is there. As told don't reach there hungry after sun sets. You will find nothing to eat outside. Avoid pick seasons like Deewali, if you have a plan to stay. Best schedule is to reach around 4:00 pm and take dinner in Bhojan Shala, stay there and leave the place in morning after taking Navkarshi (Morning Breakfast). During night, It is amazing feel of peace in mind in temple.

Highest peak in Mount Abu they say. And yes it is the highest peak. Spectacular view from all the sides once you reach at the top. There are two temples of the peak. The top one is hanuman temple. An ancient religious place. There are lots of local shops on the way to top offering different Rajasthani items.
If you place to hire a guide at this place then please check whom you hire cause some of them hardly have any knowledge.
I believe this place is must visit. It was an amazing experience.

Lovely place!!!!! Totally recommended for one night stay..lots of activities like horse riding, camel riding, buggy riding and art gallery..to keep kids busy...and the temple is totally wow...the bhavna in evening is good too

Toad rock is a top of a hill around the periphery of famous Nakki lake of Mt Abu.Due to continuous weathering,rock turns in to shape of a Toad.Located on the west bank of Nakki lake and about 60 mt high from the Nakki lake.Comfortable stairs are there to climb up.You can see a beautiful view of Nakki lake and of Mt Abu from the top of the rock. Its a hot spot for the rock climbers .

We went there for a day trip from Pavapuri and the roads leading to this temple are absolutely perfect. The temple is at the end of a village which you have to pass through. the temple has a lot of history and religious significance. pls dont plan to stay overnight here

Pros:
- Sunset is very clearly visible and beautiful.
- Safe and secure for couples.
- You will find good food stalls and market around the path to sunset point.
Cons:
- Have to buy tickets from government counter (useless). (Try Honeymoon Sunset Point a Better alternative)
- Have to travel 1 km to point after parking.
- For old age people its difficult to walk they can skip this place and visit other option of Honeymoon Sunset Point in Mount-Abu.
- after sunset full crowd runs back to town and this makes a very big traffic jam.
To do: Try taking 2-wheelers to escape the traffic jams.

This famous spot in Mount Abu is one of the most happening places in the Hill city. The lake has lot of different boating options to have a lake ride. Obviously it has become commercial spot for local city members. Nakki lake has 3-4 km area of water, also the boating dockyard has ample space for public sittings, Gardens & other activities. We also enjoyed the Rajasthani dressing photoshoot at the same place, plus it has no.of shopping outlets & food outlets. It has all things at one place. Must visit place in MAbu.
