Singleton Historical Society & Museum Inc

The museum has limited opening hours as it is run by volunteers which are hard to find these days. But the collection is well worth the visit - it’s a very big collection for such a small town, and covered farming, home life, costumes, transport, Aboriginal artefacts, local history of settlement....and more. I especially liked the ‘over the top’ scrolls of thanks to local dignitaries - beautifully illuminated manuscripts. And the collection of Bowling Club pins - over 6000! And the volunteers were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit and recommend it. And it only cost $3 and $1 for children. What a bargain.
