This is actually in Sete Lagoas, another city outside BH.
You'll have to join a guided tour (and you may have to wait a little bit to join one), the only way to visit the cave. When I were there I had to wait for 20 minutes, if that much.
The cave formations are really amazing, there are monumental stalagmites, stalactites and columns. Some of them seem to have been carved by humans but it's all natural. And it takes years and years for it to grow a mere millimeter! Other than that, there are also other interesting curiosities well in rock formations.
I liked very much.

We visited the cave having in mind the huge and beautiful images of Maquiné Cave, not far from there. But the impact of richness in speleothems - stalactites, stalagmites, columns and helictites, under the colored and changing light from illumination, surpassed the Maquiné Cave. One important detail: the cave is still alive, what means: the formation is in course, water still infiltrates through the walls, depositing calcium and growing the speleothems. It worth the visit. The negative aspect is the total absence of a place to buy a snack, even a souvenir.

This is a small chapel on the top of Serra de Santa Helana, one of the main attractions of Sete Lagoas, the city where I live. It is a nice place to relax, pray and be close to nature.

Fui até a serra para voar de parapente pela segunda vez.
A vista de lá é maravilhosa. A igrejinha é uma graça.
Muito pequena.
Tem toda estrutura de bares e banheiros...
Desta vez estava acontecendo um campeonato de ciclismo. Muito legal.

Vale a visita, mas não vá com muita espectitativa, tem uma locomotiva e um vagão, e dentro do museu você pode ver algumas peças , vestuário e fotos que contam um pouco da história dessa estação.
