Indonesian IKEA sells goods in higher price comparing to Ikea overseas. Not much I can say about IKEA because it has the same concept elsewhere. The food is so so too typical Ikea food. The people who serve the food are not friendly.

Ocean Park Water Adventure

Reviewed By MrKlaasP - Brussels, Belgium

I have been to many Water Parks (waterboom as they say in indonesia) in Jakarta, medan, yogya, and solo.
This one was the best one in overal performance.
Entrance is easy, foreigners are not discriminated price wise, although local creditcards might give you a one buy, one free entrance. Entrance price was ok and cheaper then for example jungle waterboom in bogor. Parking space is available, i do not think it is included in entrance fee, i did not use it so can not be sure. Compared to europe parking is usually relatively cheap/acceptable in Indonesia.
First of all for indonesian standards it is very well maintained and clean.
Smoking is prohibited in most areas except the kantine (food) area's and i did not see anyone smoke which is remarkable for Indonesia.
For people with family and kids they are plenty of choice for all different ages and plenty of lifeguards and a bit overactive security for the women (guess better to much then to little). Dresscode is what you want it to be, most indonesians dress up all over, although it is not required or expected. Certain glides forbid to long loose trousers so think about that. Plenty of food vendors at a reasonable price (more expensive than basic street vendors, more cheap then most shopping mall food). They present themself a lot but dont insist when you wave them off. The food was tasty and hygienic presented on scene.
I went on a monday. Never had to queue. It is good to know that the parc is closed for public on sunday as it caters to company's/groups that day.
It is divided in different pool area's with its own slides, for kids for all ages clearly advertised however you can still go, relax in its water just not use the kid slides.
Adults got their own slides.
- 2 where you not need inflated bands (basic waterboom slides)
- 1 where you not need inflated bands straight forward down slide.
- 4 where you need inflated bands (provided by the park free of extra charge), they bring them to the top with elevator so you not need to carry them up. Blue, red, yellow, green slide, Two of them you have ride with 2 persons, Two of them you can do alone. I must say those 4 were very well made and thought of and i have not encountered in Indonesia any slides of this level. Their is a 100kg/person weight restriction. Not sure if this is enforced. A weight balance is present, guess they only ask you to go up it if they doubt??. The Water Park in dubai were i went long time ago did not have these kind of slides either.
You can do the basic water around the park tour (swim or hire a band ,around 25.000 IDR).
Wave pool.
A "flying fox" is available (glide in the sky hanging on a cable over the parc) for those who like this. 70kg max per person ( 2 persons at the same time).
It is not very big although same size or bigger then most Water Parks in Indonesia but time flew and stayed 4 hours. Entrance fee is acceptable, food/drinks are to be bought inside (at reasonable price). Band hire (as in most parcs in indo) is not necessary for the slides itself (cfr. jungle parc). Locker coin can be bought for 20.000 IDR. Perhaps my only negative remark, you can only use the coin once (same as in jungle parc bogor). A re-use would be more enjoyable, if you want to take your money, put on lotion..... . Although most people put their non-valuables/some valuables in a bag on one of the many places to sit/lie down. Left my plastic bag on a table for a few hours, did not move an inch. And when people came to sit there, an attraction coordinator asked if we had any valuables and proposed we put it next to him till after our slides.

Conclusion:
Very enjoyable Water Park. Clean and well maintained. For all ages which adults will certainly enjoy too. The best one i have encountered in Indonesia till now. Hope they will maintain their efforts. If you have time and do not know what to do in jakarta/tangerang/BSD this is a place for you.

One minor remark for improvement: locker re-use system would be recommended. Not sure why they made it this way.

This place has big and complete hardware store (Ace Hardware), interior store (Informa), and toys (Toys Kingdom). There are also groceries store and many choices of good restaurants. You will not find many fashion stores here.
The parking lot is enough, but you will find a difficulty to find a spot at the weekend, especially if they hold a special event.
They have an open garden in the upper level, besides the foodcourt. The foodcourt is so-so, not too many choice of food, and I don't like the atmosphere.

Paradise Dreamland

Reviewed By miamekarpuspa - Serpong, Jawa Barat, Indonesia

I think this place shouldn't be listed as a tourist attraction. Nevertheless, I will continue writing this review.
It was Saturday afternoon when we went there; we paid 25.000/pax. The place is located inside Serpong Paradise cluster. There are 3 pools (for kids, adults & a whirlpool) and 2 waterslides. The bathroom wasn't clean, the water wasn't crystal clear also, makes you wonder about its cleanliness...... (long pause)
Next to the pool, there is a playground. It's free. Although it's named "Giant Playground", don't expect it to be as big as Playparq Bintaro or anywhere else.
Despite them all, it was entertaining enough for my active boys. They loved it, and that's what is matter for me.
