Roozengaarde Display Garden

In 1985, RoozenGaarde was founded as a small showgarden and retail shop. With this addition Washington Bulb Co, Inc. was now able to reach out to the many individual flower enthusiasts and gardeners who wanted direct access to WBC’s great products. Flowers and floral arrangements are available every day of the year. The gift shop is also stocked with Tulip Festival merchandise, gardening tools and books, and unique gifts for the home and garden. The original showgarden has grown to over 3 ½ acres and is annually planted with over a ¼ million spring flowering bulbs. Included in this count are 85 different varieties of tulips, 25 varieties of daffodils, plus varieties of hyacinths, crocuses, and irises. Every flower is listed in our bulb catalog (and online!) which is available for visitors as they stroll through the garden. We encourage visitors and home gardeners alike to come check us out to simply enjoy the sights or see what ideas you can take back home for your own flower beds!

Visited this garden when the sun was out! Parking is very well organized. Friendly staff. Everything was muddy - but they try to keep it a pleasant experience. The display garden was surprisingly open and saw some new flowers there. Fun to watch the artists painting. Walked around the fields - glad we had our boots on. There was a drone hovering above the tulip fields even though they are not allowed.

I visited several years ago and dreamed of coming back. I have never had cheese like this before. The Jalapeño and the Habanero are outstanding. Extra creamy and soft with amazing flavor. If you ask them to seal the cheese for you it can travel home on a plane. No matter how much I buy I always wish I had more. Mmmmmm.

Tulip Town

Reviewed By ReaderPat - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

I visit my sons in Seattle once or twice a year for 3-6 weeks. This past spring I planned an April trip so I could see the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. I love flowers and was enthralled while touring Tulip Town.

We went through the indoor flower show and watched a mural artist working on the mural behind one aisle of the show. There are several specialty gardens. There are 14 countries represented in the World Tulip Summit Society Garden. There is a Veteran’s Memorial Garden, a trial garden with the new varieties available by catalog, and a windmill display garden.

It was a wonderful day, and I would definitely return.

Very surprised when I walked in the door to find such a wide variety of food options. Many accompaniment products and a very nice fish case. I ordered a oyster po'boy and was very happy to find it was not cooked beyond recognition!! Excellent sammie, fair price and congenial service. Certainly worth a stop.

After checking in, we were offered a buffet lunch, a brief talk about the tour, and then off to the boat for a beautiful ride through Diablo Lake in the North Cascades. We had great weather and the views were beautiful. One highlight of the tour was a stop at one of the dams that provide electric power for Seattle. If you're going to be in the area, make sure to get reservations. It's well worth the day.

This is a place where you can go and enjoy 3 hours of fun. The Speedway has outlaw racing along Sprint cars. This is a dirt track which makes it fun to watch as they slide around the corners. Opens at 5:30. Racing starts at 7. Cost are different depending on the racing for the evening. Last night July 9 was mid-season and the cost was $ 16 for adults. Sr. and Military is $ 10. Full concession, with Chicken Strips to Hamburgers and hotdogs, Nachos etc. Beer is sold as well. For fun and something to do different. Try this attraction. The crashes are great to see. You just want the outcome to be no one is hurt. Enjoy your evening.
