This is NOT for the paint of heart! The cave is consist of three levels, we only get to reached the second with the magnificent water pool and rock formations everywhere we look. So many tourists inside! One group had to accommodate another few groups then another set of groups! Crazy! I don’t know why parents had to bring their little kids and oldies (poor nanay and tatay), I guess the tour company handling the tour didn’t inform them about how steep and slippery the rocks are. Once you were inside, one could only mutter wow! Yes! It was all heavenly! I supposed you bring your geeky friends to explain to you how those rocks were formed!

We went here however, the water is brownish due to the rain. But I guess this can be very amazing once the rain ceases.

We did the cave connection and it was absolutely fantastic.
It is reasonable challenging in places but our guide JP was excellent and knew exactly where we should put our hands and feet at all times. There was nothing that should overly trouble any reasonable active individual.
There are some extremely small holes to squeeze through, lots of wading through very cold water, bats, slippery sections, etc and it was great fun!

Probably the only reason to visit Sagada is to see the hanging coffins. You walk thru the cemetery, then down a hill to view them. I found the second half of the walk difficult.

It was a beautiful place - cool weather, fresh air, nice scenery. The only downside was we went here with a tour group and it was Sunday so there were other tour groups. Too many people for me, couldnt take a decent photo because people were lined up and taking their time to get their photos and different poses taken.
I hope they maintain the place and wont make it commercialised to preserve its beauty.
To get to the Echo valley we had to pass through the cemetery (interesting trivia: on All Souls Day the visitors do not light up candles. Instead they light up acorns).
After the Echo valley we had a short trek going to the hanging coffins, and on the way back we passed through a clear stream.

Worth a look-see on the way to the hanging coffins. Very quiet and cool inside. The interior is beautiful and quite unique as the construction looks almost Romanesque.

A friend knew someone who came from Marlboro Country and Blue Soil and showed a beautiful view of a multicolored blue, yellow, green and brown landscape; this led us to go trekking and see for ourselves. And boy! We really had a long, muddy trek! We started at 4am since we wanted to catch the sunrise there, however, it was sooo foggy last Feb. 8 that we couldn't see the sun rise! The long muddy trek is about 40 minutes, then to reach Blue Soil we had to trek up and down two hills for an hour and a half, then trek again another hour and a half to go to where our jeepney will pick us up. We were a bit disappointed with Blue Soil since it wasn't as multicolored as we expected. Our guide said that the colors are deeper when it rains. However, if it rains, it will mean more muddy trekking! We paid P600/person for guide fees plus P1,200 for the jeepney that fit all 13 of us.

We do not provide budget tours: we aim to provide the best possible service, equipment, and food, and we pay our people the professional wages they deserve. That makes our products more expensive than those of some (not all) competitors, but we think it's worth it. Rafting is seasonal, typically available June through Dec, may vary according to rainfall. White water kayaking is available to intermediate paddlers and above (a reliable roll is essential). Canyoning is seasonal, typically available October through May, also rainfall dependent. This is a full day trip requiring some fitness but no experience or special skills. Rappelling (abseiling), swimming, and jumps to deep water are featured. We provide guided mt bike tours, both trail riding and touring, with rental bikes. We do not rent bikes without a guide. Trekking tours range from 1 to 6 nights with guide and equipment.

Me and my husband came to Sagada last January as a part of our honeymoon trip. We were looking for some interesting activities and local tourist information advised us to visit "Sagada Outdoors". Steve offered us full-day Canyoning. We have never been doing this at the time, so we were a little bit hesitant. Fortunately my husband encouraged me to take part in this activity. It was just amazing experience! It was perfectly safe as Steve and his assistants are very well prepared and are controling the trip from the beginning until the end. Rappelling down, jumping from small Waterfalls, admiring beautiful views, eating delicious lunch and feeling of exitement! Defenitely worth to experience!
