Great view from the top and a very long ski slope to the bottom of the valley. 3 cabin lifts will take you to the top so it will take a while and be prepared for some cueing at the first one down in the valley. Don't miss the museum between cabin lift 2 and 3.

The Gorge of Serrai di Sottoguda, Temple of Nature, is a picturesque gorge cut into the rock with cliffs over 100 meters. In this gorge you will find various waterfalls. Very nice museum free of charge at an unusual place. If you are heading for the top of Marmolada don't miss this museum on the way up. It's absolutely worth the stop.

As we were driving towards Austria, we came upon the sounds of bells ringing. There it was, this adorable looking church and their bells were ringing, so gently. We walked around outside, overlooked the valley below. Magnificent.
