Riggins is a city in Idaho County, Idaho, United States. It is nestled deep in a canyon at the confluence of the Salmon River and the Little Salmon River in west central Idaho, approximately 150 highway miles (240 km) north of Boise, and 120 highway miles (190 km) south-southeast of Lewiston. The elevation of Riggins is 1,821 feet (555 m) above sea level, and the population was 419 at the 2010 census. US-95, the only highway for the state connecting the Panhandle to the south, runs through Riggins as Main Street. Along this route, Riggins is the northwesternmost town in the Mountain time zone. We had the best fishing trip. Rob and Russ made our trip so enjoyable. Captain Rob was very nice and made us feel at home on his boat. Russ was everywhere during the whole trip, and was so helpful. From the start to finish we enjoyed every minute. The boat was very comfortable and had a nice ride. Our lunch of hot dogs/sausages was a nice surprise. We had really great fishing (2-sturgeon, smallmouth, trout, and whitefish), and during the fight with the sturgeon Rob and Russ were on their game.

This was a rafting trip for all time. It was my first time rafting and the guide was so patient and understanding as I was a little nervous. We had all of the preparation needed for this trip and I felt very safe. It was a wild ride and I just loved it. Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend checking these people out. They know how to show you a great time. You won't be disappointed!

Owner was very nice and the guides made the rafting trip so fun. We had a large group that filled 5 boats for a day trip. Some of our group were first time boaters and were very nervous before we started. After the trip they said they loved it and would do it again. Everyone had a blast!

I've done several trips with OTT over the years, but recently did their Main Salmon trip and had the best time yet. The rapids were thrilling yet the guides, Aaron, Ben, Quin, Hunter, and Trevor did an amazing job making me feel safe. The camp sites they selected were sublime with crystal clear creeks and hiking opportunities nearby. The guides worked hard in camp cooking up delectable treats such as steak, salmon, and French toast casserole in a Dutch oven. They helped set up our tents and made sure our every need was met. It was supremely relaxing and the vistas were as beautiful as anything one could hope to view with bald eagle, osprey, wild sheep, deer, and steep river canyons. I will return.

Went to "Big Water Blowout " in Riggins yesterday, booked a trip on the upper part of the Salmon River. After this years record snowpack the river was running like a freight train, the rapids were huge with some waves 30 feet tall. Mother Nature makes the best roller coasters! Our guide, John, was fun and informative, the whole float was a blast.

Terrific time with Exodus's half-day raft/jetboat combo. Owner Amy enthusiastic and helpful; guide Rusty lotsa fun and great with the kids. Highly recommend the Salmon River for families; just-right rapids and warm water perfect for floating/swimming. The five-day raft/jetboat/horseback trip sound intriguing! Eat dinner in Riggins -- not a lot else in the area.

What a nice time. There was face painting, cardboard cutouts, bubbles and games for the kids. My husband and I enjoyed the talent show, car show and running into Riggins' nice and friendly people. My only suggestion would be to incorporate, next time, more activities for preteen and teenage people.
