Reggello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany, located about 25 kilometres (16 miles) southeast of Florence. An interesting walk while getting to the Duomo. The Piazza is a great walking place with plenty of shops and cafes, but the Piazza is getting crowded with immigrants selling knock offs who have become more than entrepreneurial, now they are becoming just annoying and they hurt the overall experience.

The gallery has been operating for about 30 years in the production of artistic ceramics and as 700 years ago, only creates ceramics made and hand painted. This shop is a little jewel in the commercial landscape of Montelupo. The owner Salvatore Mirenda, creates objects with the ancient technique of the lathe, the activity that takes place over 35 years, after he inherited from his father Sebastian, a master potter. Salvatore continues the family tradition of working with clay, enriching it with new shapes and decorations. Our production is not limited to the reproduction of classical works, but adds that touch of creativity, originality and quality that distinguishes our work. The gallery offers the opportunity 'to order and buy directly from the factory or via email.

My wife is making ceramics, this is her hobby and her passion. Naturally, we visit ceramics manufacturers everywhere we travel. This includes Italy, of course, Tuscany in particular. But La Galleria in Montelupo is one of our strongest impressions to date.
They have a few lines so unusual and beautiful it is hard to leave the shop! They are the best in Montelupo for sure and maybe in the entire Tuscany. Their poppies line in particular is artistically stunning (I believe it has been developed by the son of the owner). Other lines are not less impressive. The owners are super-friendly and are ready to show and discuss everything, they are really proud of what they are doing.
A piece of advice. Allocate at least an hour if you plan to go there.

My wife and I visited this winery during a separate tour. Our guide (after hours) was the incredibly knowledgeable cousin of the winemaker. While this is one piece of the family’s large wine portfolio, it truly is a family operation. The cellars under the castle...Morethank you so much for your feedback. This small and beautiful cemetery was donated to the United States as a permanent burial ground without charge or taxation. There is a stunning memorial that is above the burial sites. There are 4,398 headstones in eight plots that lie below the memorial. This is a quiet and peaceful place that brought me to tears. Try to be here before 5:00pm for the flag lowering ceremony. If you want, you can get involved in folding the flag. You will really be moved and I feel privileged to have experienced this amazing place.

Tour with a carriage campagnola (see photo) with 10 seats. tours are 2 hours and more according to what you want to do. combined with the tour you can have a picnic, a visit to the castle, a wine tasting, see a show just for you ..... A rhythm of nature sometimes descend on climbs and walks in the countryside to relieve the work of the horses. We look forward to being together in nature ...

We almost didn't go on the wagon tour of the vineyards and that would have been a huge loss. My husband, my mother and our niece spent a fantastic afternoon with Luca touring the lovely vineyards around Montespertoli. We saw parts of the area that we would never have gotten to on our own and learned more about the history of the area. We all agreed that it was one of the top 3 things we did on our entire trip to Italy. The pace allowed us to really enjoy the beautiful scenery. As a horseperson, I loved Luca's relationship with Drago and Birba, they worked hard to give us a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend you take advantage of this unique experience.

Beautiful museum, very organised. They will tale you back in time by centuries as you go up the floor. It's very spacious, not crowded, well lighted, and has spectacular views of the Tuscan Mountains when you look out the windows! Definitely a must see in Prato!

I went to Piazzale Michelangelo twice, both time I had an amazing experience, the views of the Florence downtown and Tuscany villas on the side hills are spectacular. Get your camera, a bottle of wine and some cheese, then sit ther with your companion and enjoy the changing views as the days progresses. Sunsets are a must!

Amazing piazza with Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi and the beautiful lodge with amazing works of arts: original statues by Cellini and other masters in marble and bronze. The copy of David is in front of Palazzo. There is a lot of interesting history like secret passage from Palazzo to Pitti palace, there is a marked spot where Savonarola was burned and lots of other interesting facts and monuments. Most importantly, a gorgeous square.

Spent two hours queueing to go into the Cathedral, once we were inside we were absolutely shocked and disappointed as there is nothing to see. It is more spectacular from the outside than the inside. Do not waste your time queueing hours, spend it looking round some of the smaller church’s or even wondering around the quaint streets. Really, there is nothing to see !!!!!
