Had Dinner here while attending an evening meeting session. Service was great, staff very friendly, ambiance and setting was very peaceful. Our meal which was a monster sized steak (16 oz) was cooked to perfection. Food was awesome. This place is tucked out of the way a bit, had it not been for the meeting location I wouldn't have thought of dining here. seek it out, You will not be disappointed.

If you want to know what the city of Red Deer looks like, you have to visit this place. Many cultural activities take places in this park. Summer time is the best time to see this place. Unless you do the same as me, I arrived in September and many flowers were still there.

Other then a school group, we were the only ones there. Plenty of interesting displays for any level of sports fan. Stop in, you won't regret it.

Well, I'm a born and raised Albertan, why didn't I know there were u-pick farms so close to home. LOL.
We decided to spend Family Fun Day berry picking. We headed out from Calgary to the Jungle Farm to go strawberry picking. Unfortunately the strawberries were "all picked out" when we arrived, so we picked raspberries instead. $9.00 for 2.5lbs. of berries - what a great deal!! And, they were sweet and juicy and my whole family loved the experience. My kiddos are 15 and 19 and they were both pretty impressed.
They also have u-pick produce that we will try another time.

Cronquist House

Reviewed By Nancy K - Rocky Mountain House, Canada

We booked the Cronquist House to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of my in-laws. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in planning the menu for our event. We had 34 family members attending so the venue was the perfect size to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The charming vintage home with all of it's homey touches added so much to make the afternoon feel special. The meal of salad, roast pork tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and a celebratory anniversary carrot cake were all delicious. The servers were very attentive and did a great job of taking care of all our wants & needs and were very patient with the 13 small, active children that were a part of our group. We felt the cost was very reasonable for all that we received. We'd definitely consider this venue again for future family celebrations.
