Les remparts de Parthenay

Reviewed By raglantripper

We stumbled upon the gates and ramparts at Parthenay and were really impressed at the completeness of the ramparts and the ancient village it’s a 13 century fortified village and is really beautiful it has beautiful stone bridges and a fantastic cathedral I reckon this was one of the most underrated towns we visited and definitely worth a visit on its own The bell tower still works and is centuries old It’s not fear from Nantes and has a good lot of shops ,cafe and restaurants
