After attending a number of classes here at Front Sight over the past two years, I am pleased to say we are proud to hold Lifetime Commander memberships at The leading Professional Firearms Training Facility right here in Pahrump, Nevada. All the instructors we have encountered are impressive in their own ways. All you need to do is take the 2 or 4 day defensive handgun course and you too will be writing a stellar review of Front Sight. The Skills you will learn and practice are priceless. Many of the Local hotels have reduced room rates which makes attending a class a breeze. ( Our favorite is The Saddle West Hotel/Casino ). Don't Delay, Do it TODAY! Overall Rating ~ EXCELLENT

We were there for a big wedding event and on Friday when a major race was scheduled with the groom and about 15-20 other cars. My first formula one and it was exciting to say the least. Very nice clubhouse. Race was operated with impressive professionalism and expertise. Saturday evening the wedding involving approximately 250 people was staged at the lake. What a stunning setting for a late afternoon ceremony. We loved the place and our experience there and can’t wait to return.

We heard about Pahrump Valley winery from friends and decided to visit. Nice drive from Las Vegas, about 45 minutes through the mountains. The winery is very nice and has free tastings of up to 7 of their 20 wines. The people are very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was good too, we brought some home.

It is obvious the owners of this establishment enjoy having guests and want their guests to enjoy themselves. We happened to visit on a Sunday when the Winery had a farmer’s market / Craft market in the parking lot and a brass duo entertaining on the patio. The wine tasting was free and ended with a wine spritzer made with one of the wines. Very enjoyable on a hot afternoon ... especially on the lively patio being entertained by the duo. We did buy a few bottles of wine to enjoy at home. Definitely visit here if you are in Pahrump.

We had a really good experience here. Pahrump is not very big, but like every other place, it has a story to tell. It was once a cotton community until real estate development as more profitable. There was quite a bit of information on the nearby Yucca atomic preserve. You know you're old, tough, when you see stuff in the glass cases that you used as a kid.

I recently visited the Mountain Falls community including the Golf Club. We were interested in practicing our putting and chipping. The manager working in the shop lent us a putter and some balls to practice with.
We spent an hour on the putting green improving our putting and getting that golf bug back. We will definitely be going back to practice and eventually play a round of golf.

The Hubb

Located at the Gates of Death Valley in Pahrump, NV Live Music Friday & Saturday Night. Sunday Afternoons Live Music. 3 PM - 7 PM. Try a HUBB Burger from the grill. The kitchen is always open. A great place to stop for a drink, food, and indoor/outdoor entertainment.

Went to the Hubb Bar & Saloon to listen to some music ended up going Friday, Saturday and then Sunday afternoon. While there Sunday we tried their meatball sub and it was great just the right amount of sauce. Had some fries they were thin cut and were great too. The wife had the meatball sub too and she loved it. A friend tried the Hubb burger and she loved her's too. Of course you have to remember it's a bar and there was smoking going on. But once they turned on the fans it wasn't too bad. Music was great with Mike Hickey, Jack Reeves along with Matt & Cole and a few others.

The slots were very tight. Did not win one penny and played many machines and up and down the pay scale. Played video poker after disappoint slot machines and could not win anything on those machines too. Was rather a grungy and uninviting place. No where near the CA casinos and Indian casinos.
