We spent half a day hiking all of the way around this river area. Some of the terrain was tough, but we had some younger kids that made it through. It is amazing to see the power of a river at work.

The address on Trip Advisor is incorrect, Bond Falls is actually near Paulding and Bruce Crossing, MI, and not Ontonagon. It's further east just off of HWY 45. Spectacular waterfall. Nice park with a nice boardwalk and trails. The steps up to the top of the falls can be slippery, so be careful!

Easy walk on the boardwalk to several view points. We didn't know about this place, just happened to see signs and thought we'd go while in the area. So glad we did. The trees were just beginning to change, it must be absolutely beautiful when they are in their peak. We will go back!

We drove up to the Porcupine Mountains hoping to catch the fall colors and we were not disappointed. The park offers wonderful views with beautiful fall colors amid several great hiking spots. There was everything we could desire to get us into the fall season! A wonderful place to visit!

The trail is nice and it seems like more than a half mile to get to the top, many steps involved but worth the view. There were other trails along the way that did not seem to be marked very well, to explain where they were going, so we stayed on the main trail. The view from the top is beautiful. There are two areas to look, one from the west view and one from the east view and they are great!

I suggest making this trip a must. There are several angles for picture taking and a board walk at a slight angle for ascending. Then if you are up to the strenuous descent over roots and rocks, over eight stories (at least) to the lake, take it. Note, the area at the lake is mucky.

This campground is right above the sand dunes of Lake Superior. Every site is wonderful. Swim on the beach, walk the beach and gather beach glass drift wood, or agates, ride your bikes, paddle on the lake, hike, have a fire on the beach, play frisbee golf. Staff is wonderful, bath house clean. Loved it and we will return!

To get close you have to go into town and go to the historical museum, which is unfortunate for stop and gawkers like me. I'd rather be able to drive to the location and determine if I want to go on the tour or not.

We hit a powder day and it was amazing! Not a lot of people there because it was soooo cold. Parking was close, staff was friendly and the lodge was nice. The only bad thing we experienced was they were doing lift maintenance in the afternoon which slowed the lift down. Which sucked because it was so cold and extremely windy. However we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

If you like the sound of rushing water, this is your place. It' s not nearly as popular as Presque Isle or Lake of the Clouds. Really its beauty is a bit more subdued. It's a great place to just sit and listen to nature. If you spend more than a day in the park, you should really stop here-just don't tell too many other people.
The trail itself requires a little bit of up and down and watching out for tree roots. It's certainly not handicap accessible. With that said, I think most folks will find it enjoyable. Be warned there are no bathrooms there.
