Noida, short for the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is a systematically planned Indian city under the management of the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (also called NOIDA). It is part of National Capital Region of India. Noida came into administrative existence on 17 April 1976 and celebrates 17 April as "Noida Day". It was set up as part of an urbanisation thrust during the controversial Emergency period (1975–1977). The city was created under the UP Industrial Area Development Act, 1976 by the initiatives of Sanjay Gandhi. The city has the highest per capita income in the whole National Capital Region. Noida is classified as a special economic zone (SEZ). The Noida Authority is among the richest civic bodies in the country. As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of Noida in 2011 is 642,381; of which male and female are 352,577 and 289,804 respectively. Roads in Noida are lined by trees and it is considered to be India's greenest city with about 50% green cover, the highest of any city in India.

We brought our niece here in March 2019. She was four then. She enjoyed the place so much that when it was time to leave, she began to cry, not wanting to leave. All the activities are designed in a way that kids don't just have fun, they also learn a lot about different occupations. Our niece thoroughly enjoyed being a police officer, a doctor, a courier deliverer, a firefighter, & a fuel station attendant. We'd taken the three hours' slot as it was our first visit & we didn't know what to expect but clearly, 3 hours were inadequate for the little one. A good part is adults get to enjoy themselves too. Due to its popularity, Kidzania became really crowded by the time our time was up. Best is to go first thing in the morning. MUST VISIT for every child!

A perfect place for a lazy lunch especially when you have young children with you... Digging, hopping, petting animals keeps them busy while you sip on endless cups of freshly brewed coffee.. enjoying the sun. The food service is slow, but that's what slow food and authentic organic is about... so one doesn't mind.. especially since the taste and quality completely make up for it... What a way to enjoy a tasty fresh healthy lunch without guilt! Also great way for kids to spend the weekend instead of a shopping mall.

Its surprising to see in the era where there is small building up everywhere in a developed town something like this to stand out, And well it does. With all the good and varied range of restaurants and cafes here, they have maintained a regular crowd and regular foot fall here with decent crowd. Beyond cafes and restaurants the place is home for some clothing brands like Shopping Central among many others. Parking here is shared with the adjacent mall, The Great India Palace also they have their own space for special days, and if you own a super car or bike, they have made some corners so that one can park safely as well as becomes a show around the mall for other customers to have a chance to look. Overall, the place is build new and has been developing ever since, and properly maintained thus among the favorites of many. Its not like a regular mall one visits everyday. Known as a haven for over 300 bird species, especially waterbirds. In 1990, an area of 3.5 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi) on the river Yamuna was designated a bird sanctuary by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. The site is located at the point where the river enters Uttar Pradesh. The most prominent feature of the sanctuary is the large lake created by damming the river, which lies between Okhla village to the west and Gautam Budh Nagar to the east.
