After we booked our holiday we noticed some negative reviews on TripAdvisor so we we're a little worried.however apart from the selfish people who made sure of getting their sun-beds everything else at this lovely hotel was just as we hoped it would be.
We had a lovely room facing the beautiful front Gardens and hills beyond,the room was kept very clean with fresh towels each day and bottles of water put into the fridge this we very much appreciated.we thought all the staff worked very hard doing long hours and always were approachable.
We thought the food in the hotel was very nice no complaints from us I particularly like the pizzas at lunchtime but I enjoyed all the food.
We found the walk into Sorrento okay and only 20 minutes it was not so bad but did make use of the shuttle which had good time keeping.we did some trips Capri we got the ferry it cost a lot less the Thompson when there we got the little shuttle up to the main centre tickets can be bought at Capri harbour and it was well worth the trip as it's just beautiful.
The Amalfi coast trip was fabulous we loved the day,it's worth doing the little boat trip which you pay extra 12 Euro for on the 2 hour stop off.
Pompeii we did as we thought we should as we're there but we really loved it ,and very much worth going if your in to minds about it I'd say go.A big thank you to all the hotel staff you made our holiday a fabulous one ..

Trovandomi in zona per lavoro ed approfittando di una pausa ho fatto visita a questa bellissima Cattedrale. È abbastanza grande e ben distribuita. Ho notato anche dei resti che mi sono sembrati essere preistorici. Comunque non vi erano molte persone così ho potuto fare un giro in tutta tranquillità ed ammirare la sua bellissima architettura. Molto affascinanti le statue e le icone presenti al suo interno. La facciata è semplice, ma l'annessione campanile che sovrasta la zona circostante è molto bello. Insomma sono venuto per lavoro e ne ho approfittato per una pausa culturale.

I was searching for something to eat while I was in Nocera at nearly 10pm. Then I found this place with only Italian reviews. I spotted this word 'buona', so I drove to try. It happened to be a football night. Many locals sitting around enjoy their games and food. The pizzas were very delicious. The best pizzeria for our 2017 trip through Italy, maybe also because it wasn't so touristy, especially with that atmosphere near midnight. Little English communication but they well took care of us. We felt many eyes on us, but come Ciao with warm welcome. The map info we found on TA wasn't correct. It's right at the round about. We will definitely go back again if pass by.

Il Museo, il più importante dell'area, si trova nel trecentesco convento di Sant'Antonio, e raccoglie reperti che vanno dall'epoca protostorica a quella romana provenienti da San Marzano, Nocera, Angri e Scafati. Particolarmente rilevante è la statua di Atena rinvenuta in località Pareti a Nocera Superiore. Una delle sale del museo, la Sala della Congiura, è così detta perché qui si sarebbe tenuta, sul finire del XIV secolo, la congiura dei cardinali contro il papa Urbano VI, assediato al castello di Nocera.

Ci si capita per caso, recandosi alla vicina chiesa ( le stuture fanno parte dello stesso complesso architettonico )e si scompre che anche l'Agro-Nocerino ne ha da raccontare sul passato.

Gelateria dell'omonimo bar accanto, bel locale e personale molto cordiale. Se devo dire che il gelato mi sia particolarmente piaciuto, non posso dirlo, almeno parlando per i due gusti alla frutta che ho assaggiato. Da ripassarci per una ulteriore valutazione.

CI SONO DEI QUADRI dei Solimena, padre e figli, che sono di una bellezza unica...hanno una luce particolare e delle forme armoniose che ti rapiscono nel guardarli. Ci sono vari oggetti antichi come crocefissi e ostensiere varie...oltre a statue in legno. Il museo è ben tenuto. Situato in un palazzotto antico rimesso a nuovo da pochi anni. Andateci...non costa nulla e resterete meravigliati di così tanta bellezza.

Convento di clausura, risale al 1300. L'ingresso è situato in una stradina laterale ai confini della città di Nocera Inferiore, sulla strada che porta a Sarno. Vanta una lunga storia ed un imponente monastero edificato su di un lato dell'adiacente collina. Chiesa non grande, ma con opere pittoriche del Solimene. Da vedere se si transita in questi luoghi.
