Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

Dixie Brewing Co.

Dixie Brewery is an iconic New Orleans brand, born in 1907. Our new facility is 85,000 square feet and open to the public as of January 25th, 2020. Come visit our taproom and outdoor beer garden, enjoy some food, or take a guided tour of our brewery.

The quality of the beers are a vast improvement from the beers of yore. Before hurricane Katrina, Dixie was a regional brewery producing beers that were more geared to the American beer drinker of the 80's and early 90's . After suffering the loss of the old brewery, the beer survived by being contract brewed and sold more locally. This new brewery however is a site to behold. It boasts ample seating space (both indoor and outdoor), a large gift shop, a restaurant, and a museum that features some of the cities somewhat forgotten top dogs in the brewing business. The museum itself while small is a love letter to New Orleans' unique beer history, and is incorporated into the seating area for the tap room. One can simply marvel at the exhibits while enjoying a pint of their favorite Dixie brew. A vast window on the second floor allows visitors to see the actual brewing facility in all its splendor. As for the beers themselves; They are varied in style and innovative. Keeping up quite well with modern brewing styles while still giving a nod to old flagship brands like Blackened Voodoo, and Crimson Voodoo. They even retain the classic Dixie beer in its original style for those of us seeking nostalgia or a simple golden Pilsner.
