Coleman Theater

This is a beautiful building - especially inside which is opulent and gives a real insight into the value that was placed in the theatre. We had a very interesting and informative guide who had a good sense of humour. He had kindly arrived an hour early so that our tour group could be accommodated. The Wurlitzer organ is a gem and, as it is being restored, appears to have a mind of its own selecting just the one tune to play.....or is that the work of Mr Coleman's ghost who is purported to haunt the building?

Route 66 Ribbon Road/Sidewalk Highway Landmark

This one lane concrete road is just south of Miami, Oklahoma travels the original route south from Miami toward Tulsa. The road has plenty of room for two vehicles to pass since gravel has been place on both sides, but this particular section has the original section in pretty good shape. I visit every time I visit my brother who lives on old Route 66 just around the bend from this original ribbon of road. The marker at the end of the ribbon road has ample room for parking to pics.

Buffalo Run Casino & Resort

Extremely clean hotel and casino. Food was great. Casino staff was friendly and came around often to wipe things down and pick up trash. Hotel check-in was fast considering I had more than one reservation. The front desk staff was friendly, accommodating and informative. Very hard to find clean establishments these days but Buffalo Run surpassed our expectations. My mother utilized the shuttle from the Casino and the driver was nice and professional. Glad that they provide this service. Our breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We'll be going back again very soon. Awesome place to stay, relax and play.
