The farm has a surface of 450,000 square meters, cultivated with vines, olive trees, citrus trees, and vegetables. A correct management of the farm, such as the use of biological plant food, is the base of our work. I've had the chance to try all the Montalbano's specialities (or delicatessen) in Stockholm during a wine expo.
Although the expo was just for wine, the owner (Antonino) decided to bring with him almost everything and offered bites (even big ones in some cases!) to the Swedish visitors and to the other wine producers as well!
The salty patè made from olives or sundried tomatoes were perfectly matched with the red wine Kaìre and also with the chilly-enough white Lustro di Luna!
The people's reactions were very funny... They were expecting to attend just a wine expo but it ended in a "clock-stopping" experience!

The temperature was 46 celcius as we walked out of our car, when we decided to pack some extra water and to remove all dark clothes. Instead of hiking; as we usually do at these types of sights, we chose to take a golf cart tour. There was no guides, but you recieved a map with information of the sight which was included in the price. If you only are going to spend a hour, you should definitively see the Acropolis. A lot of the city streets are still somewhat intact, and you can easily imagine how this metropolis was in the old days.

The beach and the sea are clean and not very crowded even in august. Great place for lovers of the seaside. The area has been awarded a "Bandiera blu" (blue flag) for years (including 2017), which means that the sea water has been tested for pollution and found to be clean. One caveat: the bar "Zu Petru" (just next to the beach) is expensive, compared to the standards of the area. They also serve sardines and BBQ in the evening: we paid 150 € for 9 adults. Each one had ordered sardines or BBQ meat. We drunk water, a couple of beers and a Coke. We also had 4 salads. The service was poor, but the cost was high. We didn't get a menu with prices at the beginning or a written bill at the end. We were just told how much to pay. "Zu Petru" did not accept credit cards.

We went to this tour and enjoyed every minute. The lady who took us round was very knowledgable and eager to give us explanations and answer all our questions. The oil and salt produced is amazing. They had some problems prior to having us however this did not impact our visit at all. They were highly professional.

Beautiful setting for the Wine County. The hotel has wonderful accomidations, the interior design is modern mixed with Sicilian traditions. The food presentation is outstanding,with chefs and tailored staff. A wonderful experience to find the country living in Sicily.

E' proprio così,se volete trascorrere qualche giorno ll'insegna del relax,della buona cucina (ed ottimo vino) a due passi dallo splendido mare del sud della Sicilia, la Tenuta è il posto che fa per voi.Abbiamo trascorso un weekend lungo alla Tenuta,degustando gli ottimi vini locali, assaggiando le specialità culinarie tipiche, rilassandoci nel pomeriggio quando il caldo è stato molto intenso (anche se comunque mai afoso, ma sempre ventilato) e godendoci il mare pulito,limpido e veramente caldissimo.Inoltre è stata una occasione per visitare qualche posto turistico (templi di Agrigento) e la famosa Scala dei Turchi,posto davvero meraviglioso.Il tutto è stato condito dalla straordinaria accoglienza e calore del proprietario e dalla gente del posto.Altamente raccomandato

this is the center of historic center of old town Menfi and was a pleasant stroll. quaint building, friendly people interesting buildings, beautiful churches.
