The monastery is a treasure in a quit place, many tourists and locals take a visit , nice byzatine style, construct with big stones; around a nice valley with an abundance of natural beauty.

We offer Greek hands-on cooking lessons at a very nice location, Anixi. Just 25kms NE from downtown Athens (approx 35min drive). We start around 10:00 am and the lesson ends around 14:00.In these 4 hours you will have the chance to cook a genuine greek meal (main dish, side dish, & salad) and also will get to enjoy the dishes you will have prepared paired with 300 ml or fine wine and dessert.

Отличная кухня, на третьем этаже чудесная терраса. Открывается вид на Афины и Акрополь. Дороговато конечно, но это центр, ничего не поделаешь)

It is very long beach from Nea-Makry to Marathone. The length is about 2 kilometers. There are some parking places, beach bars, cafes and umbrellas on this beach. The sand is good for children. There is no many people. Highly recommended!

This is a wide lake which is divided by a bridge/causeway. You pass this lake when you drive from the south (after viewing Marathon ostensibly) and head north to Thermopylae. This is part of the scenic route to Thermopylae.
From the homes and small towns in the lake area, it seemed to us that it was a vacation retreat kind of area with the lake as a focal point.

If you like nice walks and explore nice country regions, this Sanctuary merit a visit, the atmosphere in the nature is superbt, all is quit and serene; it's an ancient site of a greek-roman house; many ruins, some columns to see, and nice copies of Greek and Egyptian status; there are no entrance to pay;
- its the domaine of the crickets and for the rest a touched silence.

La Costa has many different “personalities”.
During the day you can lay on the deckchairs and get your suntan drinking orange juice, have a very tasty meal at midday , continue bathing and relaxing in the afternoon, have your cocktail at sunset, enjoy dinner under the stars and dance until the dawn at the disco.
The parking is huge, there are showers and clean bathrooms, lawn for children and sofa for conversation. The Greek tavern offers everyday something different to taste and the music at night is perfect to keep high your heartbeats.
At La Costa your vacations never end.

Here you can discover scuba diving or take your first dive certification in the sandy beach and blue waters of Schinias bay. We own a 6 meter long inflatable boat so you can join us in a dive trip to the most amazing dive sites of South Evoikos. Shipwrecks, caves and steep rocky slopes are some of them. Alternatively you can relax and sunbathe, swim or snorkel in a boat trip to small, hidden bays which are located in the golf of Schinias or at Petalioi Islands. Whatever you choose one thing is certain. You will have a wonderful time because our top priorities are safety and the smiles on our visitors’ faces.

Today I had a diving experience with Mr. Dimitris.
I have really enjoyed the diving and landscapes in the Attica area and the beauty of the sea.
He patiently explained to me what I needed to know for a safe dive.
Very professional.
I highly recommend.

We were in the area after a long vacation and being runners we thought it would be a neat place to visit. We ran part of the course, just to say we did, but I would not make a special trip here, only if you are in the area.

Ok obviously driving all the way just for this stop, it wouldn't make sense. However it can be nicely combined with a nearby visit to the sea side villages of Nea Makri or Timvos, while enjoying some fresh fish in the beach front taverns.
