Another amazing, super snorkeling trip with Eric during our stay at Shandrani Beach resort in August 2017
This was our 5th trip with Eric and he never seems to amaze you with his knowledge of the reefs and his way of making the day unforgettable.
Nothing is too much trouble for him.
We were a group of 14 and he managed to spend quality time with each one of us.
A day with Eric is something you should not miss out on.
Still the best snorkeling I've done in the world.
He treated us with a lunch of Grilled Crayfish, fish and chicken straight from the "braai" delicious
Thanks Eric and Nancy for always going out of your way to help us make memories.
We come to Mauritius to spend a day or more with you.
You and Nancy have become like family and we hope you will visit us one day in South Africa to treat you.

We went on a private day excursion to grand bay, La passe iland and ile aux cerfs with lunch. It was simply amazing. It is family run all the staff very courtious extrimely helpful. From the yellow sand beach you can swim in the aqua water and snorkel out to coral or take a glass bottom boat to view further out into Blue Bay Marine reserve. A lovely park with huge shady trees is above the sand.

What a great experience, picked up from the helipad closest to our hotel and whisked off expertly by our pilot across the interior, Chamerel coloured earth and waterfall, Grand Bassin, Tamarind waterfall, the Black River Gorge and down around the le Morne peninsula. Absolutely spectacular.

Visited this island on a tour organised by Lux Tamassa. Enjoyed every minute from the moment we arrived until we left.
We arrived via speedboat on the island and were treated like royalty the entire time. We visited the villa on the island and were told we could use the villas pool.
Thank you to Sajeed for taking such good care of us. The cocktails were delicious and included as part of the tour as well as the delicious buffet. We tasted dhall Puri here for the first time. We loved it!!!
We also went snorkeling which was so much of fun with an abundance of fish and coral. This tour is definitely worth the money!!!

This stretch of beach is very attractive, and a great place to swim and snorkel. I tried the nearby Blue Bay but it was always too crowded, and the reef was roped off for glass-bottomed bats to use, so I couldn't snorkel there. Pointe d'Esny beach is much quieter and has a wide expanse of sand, with coral pebbles. Just off the beach is a good area for snorkelling, though sometimes the current is too strong to stay in one place! At low tide it's shallower but there's still enough water to snorkel just above the coral. I saw quite a lot of live coral and fish here, and the beach was peaceful and relaxing. The best way to get to the beach, when coming from Mahebourg, is to look for the Access to the Beach sign, which leads you down a narrow path from the road to the beach.

I've done the full day trip to Ile aux Cerfs three times already. It's awesome, fun, you'll visit loads of interesting places.. And I can assure you'll pay for what you get. I work in hospitality, and I have done an incredible amount of boat trips in Mauritius in 6 months... and this one is one of the best. I would definitely recommend.

One of the best Ziplining adventures I have experienced. The thrill of getting onto the biggest zipline in the Indian Ocean, and completing all 7 lines of the 3.5 km adventure, was indeed unique. Kids below 15 are not allowed and senior citizens may not be able to complete the activity. Plan to go on a sunny day which is not too windy, as this helps complete the adventure! A must do for anyone who enjoys adventure sports! The crew is helpful and friendly as well!
