Ranu Kumbolo Lake

Reviewed By alex4777 - Purmerend, The Netherlands

This crater lake is amazing. It takes aprox 4 hrs by feet to reach from Ranu Pane. A lot of Mahameru Climbers camp overnight at this place(first/last). Sunrise is memorizing, since the warm water of the lake creates a layer of mist i the cold air. Beautiful and mystic.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

Reviewed By Andresguia - Denpasar, Indonesia

Located in Sidojo village, Pronojiwo district, in the boundary between Lumajang and Malang, this is in my opinion the most beautiful waterfall of Java. The awesome view can be enjoyed from a concrete platform. However coming down to the waterfall itself is not encouraged as it can be dangerous. A steep step leads to the bottom of the waterfall is only secured by bamboo fence.

Tetes Cave

Reviewed By Arghya Narendra D - East Java, Indonesia

Ok. Easy access by southern route of Java. Directly connected with Southern Malang. No public transportation. Less than USD 2 for entrance.
2 km walking from parking / ticket spot. Slippery, humid, wet, adventurous during monsoon season.
Warning !! Very steep road with no pavement. My GF was angry because of it.
Happy Holiday..

Quite a nice place, reasonably clean (for Indonesian standards), always busy and noisy due to the amount of traffic and also nearby mosque.

Lake Ranu Pane

Reviewed By sauraumpfa - Wels, Austria

Go down from Mount Bromo - Jemplang junction - around 25 to 30 min by Jeep.
Pass a small village and reach the lake - can take a walk around the lake and see the temple next to it.
Would not go there to just visit this site, but a good visit once already at Mount Bromo.

Coban Pelangi Waterfall

Reviewed By Kinjo77 - Bandung, Indonesia

Walking down to the waterfall only takes about 10-15 minutes and was easy to do but going back and hiking up proves to be a challenge. The waterfall however was worth the effort and provides an excellent subject to shoot at for photographers.

Tretes Cave

Reviewed By Nurul A - Sidoarjo, Indonesia

Happy Holiday
