Loano marina turned out to be somewhat puzzling to me. In a positive sense. Its divided into two parts: beach part (sunbeds are to be booked in prior) with nice bars/trattorias bordering this part. And marina itself - absolutely clean, modern design, good looking. Nice place to walk/jog/run.

We discovered this beach a few years ago after a bit f trial and error. This beach is perfect for young children as the bay around it embraces the beach and keeps children in clear sight.
We now discovered that the food is excellent. Fresh, traditional and original. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This is a lovely spot with a restaurant (food and service is great) and snack store. But the water seemed incredibly dark and dirty. We couldn't put more than our feet in. Parts of the beach looked worse than Varesina but not a pleasant situation.
