Take one of the morning tours. You’ll be led by a volunteer naturalist along a boardwalk through the different eco systems in the swamp sanctuary. Saw wood storks, spoonbills and a variety of birds along with alligators, raccoons, snakes. Not to worry though, they’re all at a safe distance from you up on the boardwalk. The guides are great and point out all the interesting and unique flora and fauna. Definitely a place both adults and kids will enjoy.

I actually didn't know this was called a campground, since I never actually "camped" here or swam in the river. I have visited this location several times during the day with friends from our senior community. We all picnic together here in a group during the day, and spend our time looking at the boats passing through the locks, and taking pictures. We chat with people on the boats as they wait their turn to navigate the locks. Everyone is always very friendly. We have also seen manatees often waiting for the lock gates to open and close so they can swim through and be on their way. That is fun to observe! This is a very pleasant, relaxing spot and very family friendly.

The whole experience was warm and fun. Amy the barn manager was friendly and helpful with information and advice. Ellen, the guide was fun, patient and encouraging. The horses were calm and well trained. Ellen gave us information that was fun to learn and she was positive the whole time. The trail was not too rugged and pretty. I would go back again and take other people.

My husband & I are fit 60's & bike 20 miles or more without difficulty on paved paths, but these trails were way too rugged for us - loose dirt, steep hills, tree roots, narrow paths with a creek below. We had to walk our bikes most of the time so it wasn't fun. You definitely need mountain bikes, too.

This fun, inexpensive course is perfect for a day out on the links without worrying about breaking the bank. The greens are usually in decent shape, the tee boxes sometimes need a little work, but all in all, it's worth the effort. In the Summer, you can get out for as little as $12.

What a pleasant surprise... the alpacas are very inquisitive. The location is picture perfect. The family owners are very welcoming and provide a wealth of information to us 'trekkers'. Nice serene walk/trek, good conversation with family owners. Well done; would highly recommend. When you're tired of the beachy Florida -- give this a try !!

On an extremely hot late afternoon we were still able to see a fair variety of shore birds...lots of limpkins, Great Blue and Little Blue Heron, Roseated Spoonbill, Great Egret, non-breedingTricolored heron, possible Black Rail, Common Gallinule, Killdeer, so many Black Vultures we almost didn't stay, but glad we just kept exploring. One bird we still have not id'd. Location is tricky to find...gps with address above doesn't get you there...you will need to find someone to give directions as it is tucked back in a residential area off Sunshine, Olive, Ruth and 38th.

Situated between Fort Myers and Naples, this golf club is well presented and would be highly desireable to the average golfer due to it's wide fairways and excellent greens. Due to it's location, also, it tends to be very quiet and thus not subject to pressure from extensive tee bookings. Restaurant and clubhouse are well above average and very friendly with a limited lunch menu to suit the itinerant golfer. Would recommend this as an tourist golf course

Westminster Golf Club

Reviewed By vicboy2 - Guelph, Canada

We chose Westminster for golf on our last day, largely due to it's proximity to the airport. The course was in overall good shape. The greens were a little slow but very smooth and consistent from one to the next. The pace of play was very good and booking our tee time on their website proved to be a great money saver. Regular rate was $75 but only $50 if you book on line.
